Planes and stuff

Quando o laranjinha muda de pista ao chegar ao ABUSU, já não há muito a fazer senão apanhá-lo na placa...juntando uma dose de chuva à partida e fica assim a coisa composta para fazer uma única foto de família ao par de Easyjets dos voos domésticos da manhã...o G-EZDS de/para Lisboa e o G-EZUI de/para o Porto G-EZDS alinhando na 05, um pouco mais tarde, já sem chuva

Lately, Easyjet's A320 G-EZUI has been doing a lot of flights from London Gatwick. It's a nice one but, Easyjet has now a lot more plane with some special liveries or stickers...would be nice to get those, also.... landing on runway 05 with the Otimist class boats from Santa Cruz nautical club in the sea  push-back

A semana passada ficou marcada pelo final dos voos Sata a partir da sua base no Funchal, com a respectiva retirada do aparelho Airbus A320 que até então estava baseado cá na Madeira. Madeira/Paris-Orly/Madeira foi o último voo efectuado com um aparelho Sata baseado na Madeira . Chegada do CS-TKP de Paris-Orly (ORY/LFPO) no último voo da base FNC No holding point do taxiway "Charlie" estava outro A320 da Sata, o CS-TKO , que se preparava para regressar a Lisboa, num voo que devia estar relacionado com o fecho da base FNC, uma vez que não era voo regular de passageiros O Q400 (CS-TRG, ao fundo) irá manter os voos desde Ponta Delgada, continuando até Las Palmas, além dos voos Ponta Delgada-Funchal-Faro e regresso no Verão. partida do CS-TKO para Lisboa Após último voo da base FNC, o CS-TKP não perdeu tempo a abandonar a região, com destino ao Porto. Taxiando para a 05, com o especial Easyjet 200th Airbus G-EZUI por trás, dando colorido à placa. ...

Yesterday morning Easyjet finally decided to send us a special from London. Yes...I'm wasting this joke...but it wasn't Mourinho...thank God...it was G-EZUI, the airline's Orange one, celebrating the 200th Airbus. It's been here a few times but only got it once and the pics weren't that great... Landing on runway 05 with Madeira mountains in the back. At apron, almost ready to departure (almost........) Easyjet's "electronic bag"?  The wind was already a bit tricky (on the afternoon a few planes had to bee diverted) and despite the landing were beeing made in runway 05, the take-offs were in runway 23 (good for me...it sure gives a lot more interesting pics...) See you next time...Thanks for the head's up on this one... And...Easyjet...feel free to bring us any of the other special liveries that you still didn't bring to Madeira...

Yesterday night, when I posted the entry about waiting for the coming of the Easyjet's 200th Airbus with the special Orange livery I didn't know how close I was to get it.... Today the London Gatwick flight was made by this beauty! I couldn't even believe in my eyes, when I noticed it... It was almost like they attended my request.... ;) Anyway, didn't manage to get landing so, went for the departure... While lining up on runway 05, the F/O definitely noticed me and A.M. G-EZUI pushing back... on taxiway Charlie, with some great reflections on the shinning new painting... The A320 linning up on 05, "carrier" style.... Less than half-an-hour later we had yet another special livery.... Stay tunned for the pics...
