(Not boring) Blue

Imagem
With all the standards in the TUI airlines, I usually refer to regular TUI livery as "boring blue". Fortunately, Tuifly's liveries are everything but boring and it's allways a pleasure to see them around here. A couple of nice Tuifly liveries...B738 D-ATUD, with the BLUE livery and D-AHLK with the Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten Livery. On a more classic note...Enter Air B734 SP-ENI, on the back...

D-ATUG Tuifly Magic Life, on Sunday (check HERE ) and the last one, Tui BLUE, on Tuesday :) A few shots of the D-ATUD Tui BLUE ...and what better scenery than Madeira Island's blue sea and sky to match this one? ;) Over runway 05... Touchdown....  A a shot of the departure also from runway 05, with Ponta de S.Lourenço in front...

Tuifly specials

Last Tuesday, from the 4 Tuifly flights of the day, 2 were carried through with special livery planes. That, with the oportunity to get a Germania and an Air Berlin/Niki A319 (rare for me) were more than enough for a morning of spotting... (Pics 1200pxl) First, this week's Photo of the Week: It was a nice morning with some nice pics but, I guess this one had the right amount of sky and mountains, just like the livery of the plane... Anyway, for the rest of Tuifly pics... With runway 23 in use, D-AHFR entering the apron, on taxiway " Charlie " The other special livery was already on  the stand.... D-ATUD The 2 bears of the day :) After a while...D-AHFR pushing back Meanwhile, the take-off of another Tuifly bird, the regular D-AHFW I guess it was the first time I noticed that church over there... Gaula's church, I guess....  The push back for D-ATUD  ...and the take-off, for D-AHFR with Madeira mountains on the back... The ...

Tuifly Specials: Finally the ÜBÄRflieger

Imagem
After a long time without going to the aiport, the oportunity to finally get the last Tuifly special livery that was missing on my collection was a good motive for a spotting trip to the airport On my way to the airport still made a couple of long distance shots to the Cruiseship premiering, at Funchal harbour (MSC Divina) but you can check those later in my Cruiseship spotting blog: Madeira Cruiseship Spotting  ;) When I got to the airport, the star of the day had already landed A great morning for Tuifly traffic, together with D-AHFR "ÜBÄRflieger" was D-ATUC, the "DB Air Two" and another Tuifly with the regular livery (D-AHFW) Later in the morning we still had D-ATUD, the "Gold Haribo", but could wait for it... A great morning full of Tuifly's special liveries.... Pushing back to runway 23 rotate.... A great take-off,..too bad the dark weather The arrival of D-ATUC, on runway 23 A big captain... :) Another nice ta...

Tuesday Tuifly specials

Imagem
Alex just called the atention to yet another fantastic special livery, from Tuifly with the  Bärenmarke livery (check here ) While it doesn't come to Madeira (let's hope it's soon), here a few shots on last Tuesday Tuifly specials... D-ATUD Haribo Goldbaren looks pretty amazing with the right sun! On final to runway 05 Taxiing through "Charlie" to runway 05 Nice reflections! The other special livery from Tuifly that day was D-ATUC, the DB Air Two (Regio) Under a great light Taxiing to runway 05 with another plane beeing guided by the "Follow me" to the stand. Notice closely, back on the left, the small bird is another plane has just started the aproach circuit to runway 05.

Tuifly special liveries

Like I mentioned last week, finally caught the DB Regio. Despite the regular Tuifly livery beeing nothing too thrilling (although the yellow livery looks a lot better than the blue one...) still, Tuifly has been the airline that comes to Madeira with the most special liveries and great ones! So, a small selection of these liveries, that I've caught, during times... D-ATUF 's Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrt looks a lot like the old Hapag Lloyd livery (but it's a pretty sight indeed...) D-ATUD, the Goldbaren Haribo was also one that I was after for quite a while before getting it... Fantástic livery! D-AHFZ, a nice livery but not too outstanding...never managed to get it in sunny days... The day's I photographed it, the only sun was the one on the tail... D-AHFM, the Blue Haribo looks really nice but the Golden one beats it, no doubt.... D-ATUE the DB1 Regio, really great livery (but the 2, red, looks a lot more colorful...) Only caught it in rainy day...

Gold Haribo

FINALLY!!! Finally managed to the get Gold Haribo, the last one of current Tuifly special liveries... Yesterday decided to go to the airport for some spotting. It's been quite a while since I had been there for a spotting morning. Knew that the Cargo flight, from Swiftair ,was a different registration with no pics on the main photo databases and also knew that the Finnair flight was beeing made by a Smartlynx A320 . Didn't knew what else was coming and didn't care... It felt like the first times of spotting where you went to the airport completely "blind" and happy with whatever you got... I was also with no radio (bateries went out) when I noticed some plane far away, on final to runway 23, pointed my Bigma and....!!!!!! WTF?? The Golden Haribo!!! YESS!!!!! The first time I took such a long shot that was acceptable... On the back, a sistem of solar panels is beeing mounted in Caniçal. D-ATUD That white nose sure gives it an even more colourfull...

Week off

Today we ended up having a couple of Tuifly special liveries for the first time (the Golden Haribo and the VW Sharan....) Too bad for me, couldn't get it... You can check some photos on Jorge Abreu's website: http://www.jorgeabreu.net/photo/ Anyway, time for a week off. There's lots of delayed updates on some really nice traffic, let's see if I'll get things running soon. See you in a week or so....

The Golden Haribo...

Today, the Golden Haribo (D-ATUD) finally came to Madeira for the first time. Unfortunatelly it seems like there won't be much of an oportunity for me to get it... It arrived this morning from Cologne-Bonn, as X3 2828 and should be departing now to Stuttgart, as X3 2811. On the afternoon, will arrive, around 6 p.m.from Stuttgart as X3 2810.... Happy shots for anyone of can get it...

Hapag Special and Aviocars on the double

Imagem
Yesterday (21.Apr.2009) afternoon went to the airport for some spotting and it was one of those days really worth it. With 3 Tuifly's (Hapag-Lloyds) coming in the afternoon, there was a good chance of getting something really interesting. Before leaving to the airport, already knew that 2 of them were bluey's (boring regular Tui blue livery used by almost all the airlines connected with the TUI group). The 3rd one, in the other hand was something worth the trip: D-AHLK, the only Tuifly special liverie that I hadn't caught yet. Also, when I was on my way to the airport, Jorge Abreu called me, saying that there was a big nose Aviocar parked in the apron...A 300?? Well, definitely worth the trip: I had never had caught a C212-300, here at Madeira. After all it ended being a catch on the double for Aviocars as a while after I arrived, Medic36 (the callsign for Medical Evacuations made from the PoAF C212-100 from Porto Santo) arrived from PXO. This last one is quite an histo...
