Planes and stuff

MADJet had its Hawker 900XP based at Madeira for a few years.
Now it's based at the mainland and it's been fully overhauled, including a new livery.
Yestesday made its first flight to Madeira, after the changes
Arrived from Ponta Delgada (LPPD/PDL) before proceeding to Lisbon (LPPT/LIS).

The plane looks really nice with the new livery and lights...

Mais uma entrada extra para hoje, com um registo da aterragem do CS-DPA, o Hawker Beechcraft 900XP da Madjet na 05, oriundo do Porto (OPO / LPPR)

Normalmente é um caso de sorte apanhar a chegada/saída de algum privado...ontem tive a sorte de apanhar a saída de um par deles, quase de seguida :)
Por hoje ficam uns registos do CS-DPA, da Madjet, com uma descolagem mesmo a jeito para umas fotos, com a 23 em uso.

Not much traffic today but still wanted to make some shots of MadJet's Hawker CS-DPA, arriving from Porto so, went to the airport for a couple of planes...

First catch was TAP's A321 CS-TJF arriving from Lisbon (TP1671).

After these 2, dark clouds were coming from East and the sun was already gone so called it a day

Há já bastante tempo que não fotografava o Hawker 900XP da MadJET (CS-DPA), pelo que hoje, aproveitei o facto de partir do Aeroporto da Madeira a umas horas menos "madrugadoras" para fazer umas fotos, para o "Xor Comandante" mais tarde recordar :)

Esta semana tive a excelente oportunidade de visitar o CS-DPA, o Hawker 900XP da Madjet. Era algo que andava curioso para fazer há já algum tempo... (obrigado! )
Foi sem dúvida uma bela estreia (e em vários sentidos...hehe)

No mesmo dia em que o Falcon 50 da Força Aérea fez o seus treinos (ver AQUI) tive oportunidade de spottar um avião que, apesar de estar cá baseado, é raro ver (e fotografar) em voo..

Infelizmente, borrei a loiça toda, já que apesar da excelente descolagem que efectuou, da 23, passando mesmo em frente a mim, deixei o cartão encher e ficou cheio logo na pior altura...e ainda para mais, quando o piloto era afinal alguém a quem já ando a prometer fotos há muito...

E porque os pequenotes também são aviões, a foto desta semana vai dedicada aos aviões do Aeroclube da Madeira.
Num aeroporto como o nosso em que além destes "inquilinos da casa" practicamente não temos grande variedade (ou quantidade) deste tipo de aviação, não deixa de ser interessante uma vista mais próxima aos mesmos...

One of the purposes of last Saturday spotting session at Madeira's airport was to get the rare Embraer ERJ-135 that was at there.
When I got there, it was preparing to leave...

A couple of days ago, after leaving work decided to go to the airport for some spotting.
Didn't knew exactly what was coming but didn't care. Just wanted to see and shoot some planes.
Got some TAP's and 3 Air Berlins (old colors....blargh...) and a Tuifly when it was already getting dark...but, the top catch was this little bizjet!
Althought it's based at Madeira, I had no previous shots of it flying.

Was sitting in the car, listening to some music and switching radio freqs. between Approach and Tower when sudendly, out of nowhere I heard on the radio "Jet2. Runway 23, cleared to land!"
Jumped out of the car, thinking "Jet2?? what is that?" It crossed my mind it could be a plane from the Jet2.com airline but then I noticed it was this little bird, coming in on a great light!

Last Sunday, went with the family to the east side of the island and we returning to Funchal, made a quick stock at the airport as there was a bizjet that called my atentions for its colors...

It was almost sunset and the only traffic was these bizjets and the Swiftair/Agroar white cargo B737.

The Falcon livery reminded me of the one use by Falcon 7X at Le Bourget 2005.
