Transavia new livery late afternoon

One of those days I just happened to be at Santa Cruz at the end of the afternoon and made a quick stop at the airport, just to check the apron.

There was a nice light so, waited for some shots...


Transavia A321NEO PH-YHF was about to depart...unfortunatelly, by then, the sun was already gone behind the mountains...
Taxi to 05 for the return to Amsterdam


Decided to try a 1/30 panning....this was the only aceptable shot but, good enough...

CR7 Jet

Finally made some shots on the CR7 current jet: LX-GOL, a stunning Bombardier Global Express XRS, operated by Global Jet Luxembourg. This plane has been here for a few times but never did manage to make some shots of it. Opposite to its previous plane, this one is really nice and, like I said, with a stunning livery that looks great with this kind of light. Don't really know if he came or the plane just came to get his family but, don't really care...the plane was the aim. Check Arrived yesterday from Madrid and should depart tonight.

Flying over Porto Santo

These were on the "bucket" since last November.... They were taken on the day of the activation of AM3 during a couple of passes over Porto Santo, for some aerial shots of military LPPS (AM3) and...of course, the rest of the island. Indeed a fantastic oportunity given by the Air Force to be present at such an event and my baptism on the new C-295, after beeing already "baptized" on the C-130 and the C-212 (next stop...the EH-101..LOL) The island is rather small and this is pretty much everything in one shot.... Approaching the beach (with around 9Km of fantastic golden sand...) The bubbled window provided some great views and quite a diferent framing...looks like you're outside the plane...
