 It's been quite a while since I last got a Boeing 757...
With TUI Airways flight resuming to Madeira, we started getting some of these birds flying here

(unfortunatelly due to idiotic UK decision to put Portugal back to amber list, including Madeira, that has around 4 daily new Covid cases, some of them detected and isolated on arrival, may stop these flights again...)

Anyway, last monday the main purpose was to get the first flight of Sunclass with new livery (also the first flight from Copenhagen, after the lockdown) but, still managed to get a couple of TUI Airways B752...

Flying over Porto Santo

These were on the "bucket" since last November.... They were taken on the day of the activation of AM3 during a couple of passes over Porto Santo, for some aerial shots of military LPPS (AM3) and...of course, the rest of the island. Indeed a fantastic oportunity given by the Air Force to be present at such an event and my baptism on the new C-295, after beeing already "baptized" on the C-130 and the C-212 (next stop...the EH-101..LOL) The island is rather small and this is pretty much everything in one shot.... Approaching the beach (with around 9Km of fantastic golden sand...) The bubbled window provided some great views and quite a diferent framing...looks like you're outside the plane... EH-101: Resgate na Madeira

13 de outubro de 2024 O helicóptero EH-101 Merlin, da Força Aérea, em destacamento permanente na Madeira, foi ativado hoje dia 13 de outubro para uma missão de resgate de duas pessoas que se encontravam presas na praia do Seixal, Madeira. Após ter sido ativada, a tripulação de alerta da Esquadra 751 - “Pumas” no Aeródromo de Manobra N.º 3, no Porto Santo, descolou até à zona de operações pelas 09h05 desta manhã. Ao chegarem ao local, as vítimas foram recuperadas com sucesso e transportadas para o Aeroporto da Madeira, onde foram transferidas por uma ambulância que os aguardava no local para uma unidade hospitalar.  A Força Aérea reafirma uma vez mais o seu compromisso com Portugal e com os Portugueses, cobrindo todo território nacional, sempre prontos a intervir onde e quando necessário.
