Já vai sendo habitual certas equipas de futebol fretarem um avião para vir à Madeira fazer os jogos... Menos habitual é esses aparelhos terem os títulos da equipa em questão...a juntar-se a isso, o A319CJ da White, CS-TFU, é um cromo algo raro por estes lados, pelo que lá fui fazer umas chapas...infelizmente o sol não tinha o mínimo interesse em receber o Braga...
Paciência, ficou o "cromo" feito...quanto ao resultado...paciência Braga..fica para a próxima..voltem sempre e usem os títulos que quiserem no avião ;)

De regresso ao ano passado, na capital, um registo do ATR-72 da TAP Express (Operado pela White) à saída do stand.
Entregue em Junho de 2016 à White e baptizado como "Guarda" é uma visão que dificilmente terei pela Madeira, pelo que suscita sempre o meu interesse, quando vou àqueles lados...

Outro destaque da passagem por Lisboa, por estes dias...algo que os spotters locais estão absolutamente fartos de ver mas que, para quem, como eu,  limita o spotting fora da Madeira a uns quantos clicks enquanto em trânsito, é uma verdadeira pérola...o primeiro registo decente de um dos ATR's da TAP Express, curiosamente logo um com registo Dinamarquês....

Não sendo apreciador de futebol, um dos motivos de interesse que este desporto me desperta é mesmo o facto de, por vezes, proporcionar movimentos de interesse...
No passado fim de semana, com a possibilidade de o Benfica se sagrar campeão no final do jogo com o C.S.Marítimo, acabámos por ter por cá uma parelha de aviões White...o A320 CS-TRO, que trouxe a equipa, no dia anterior ao jogo e o CS-TQV, um A310 cada vez mais raro por cá, que chegou na manhã do dia do jogo com adeptos benfiquistas....
Ah...quanto ao resultado, apesar da vitória dos vermelhos sobre os verde-rubros, parece que só mesmo a última jornada do campeonato decidirá o campeão....Boa sorte....

Ainda este fim-de-semana surgiu a temática da fraca implementação da mais recente companhia baseada na Madeira, a Everjets e suas perspectivas futuras, pelo que decidi-me por uma foto da semana relembrando outro projecto de companhia / broker / etc.... (nunca cheguei a perceber exactamente o que era....e penso que muitas outras pessoas também não...) que baseou aqui na Madeira não há muito tempo e que teve um percurso efémero...
Esperemos que o projecto da Everjets tenha mais sucesso...

Há um ditado que diz que o jardim do vizinho é sempre mais florido...e no caso do spotting, isso é bem verdade já que por mais fartos que os spotters locais estejam de um determinado avião ou companhia, para outros, esses mesmos movimentos podem ser motivo de destaque...

Há já muito que não faço uma viagem de spotting, limitando-me a registar, na medida do possível alguns movimentos enquanto em trânsito, como foram o caso destes, em Lisboa (LIS/LPPT)...
Nestes casos específicos nem se tratam de novidades absolutas já que qualquer uma destas companhias / aparelhos andaram pela Madeira mas, há já muito que por cá não põem rodas e é sempre agradável revê-los...

Inicialmente tinha pensado que poderia conseguir uma boa foto da semana com a Edelweiss mas, acabou por ser a Windavia a proporcionar-me uma das minhas fotos preferidas de ontem à descolagem para Paris, via Nantes.
E uns registos da chegada do A320 (SP-ADK) da Bingo Airways que, como referi no título, tem efectuado os voos White, com as cores Windavia.

Last Thursday went to the airport to get some of the afternoon traffic, specially Condor's A321 with Sharklets and new livery (which I still had no pics) and the landing of Volotea (the landing of this one was also a first for me...)

The weather was a bit dark and with some light rain shower wich was a bit crappy but then, this beautifull rainbow opened just over the airport...it was really beautifull and it lasted quite a long time, somethimes stronger, somethings fainter...

Há já uns tempos que não fazia umas fotos nocturnas...
Ontem aproveitei uma ida a Santa Cruz para fazer uns "bonecos" a um privado que tinha chegado durante a tarde e também umas primeiras fotos ao CS-TRO, da White, já que, apesar de cá estar baseado há algum tempo, ainda não tinha passado pelas minhas lentes...

Depois de algum tempo sem actualização fica uma nova foto da semana...

Foi escolhida por 2 motivos: Destaque dado à AeroVip cuja vitória no concurso para a linha Porto Santo - Madeira - Porto Santo foi ontem anunciado na RTP-Madeira e a presença do estreante de ontem, o B717 da Volotea (EI-EXJ)

The same day of the Sata A320 based at Funchal last flight, also got, for the first time this year, a Windavia, wich will be replacing Sata on most of the routes that were previously made by the Azorean airline, from Madeira.
Despite beeing the first time I got this this year with Windavia colors, already had photographed this plane with Bingo colors, this year... Check HERE
As allways, an interesting mix of Windavia name for a flight operated by White Airways with a Bingo Airways plane... :)

Last year was mentioned the possibility of having flights from Bingo Airways to Madeira.
Unfortunatelly it didn't happen...

Last Saturday, finally had the oportunity to get one "Happy Clown" :)
Didn't manage to get the arrival and the departure got delayed so, only got it at the stand with all the handling stuff around but still, a nice catch with a fantastic afternoon light.

A Windavia parece estar a preparar-se para, aos poucos, tomar o lugar da Sata, em especial no que toca à base da Madeira...e isso já é visível pelo menos no tempo que o avião tem estado parado no stand Alpha 4... ;)
No passado dia 26, aproveitei que estava pelos lados do aeroporto para um registo nocturno do A320 YL-LCL deles (Smartlynx / White...)

Windavia is the new Portuguese charter "airline".
I guess it's a good example of Globalization...it's operating under White Airways air operator certificate and its first airplane is a Smartlynx Airbus A320 (YL-LCL).

Yesterday they made its first flight to Madeira, a flight with french tour operators/agents in order to advertise the Madeira destiny and the GPS Tour operation to our island.

According to the info that's beeing released by the company, it will have up to 6 A320 and operational bases at Madeira, Lisbon and Paris and has already quite a number of flights booked for charter operations to several destinations.

The posting on some FB aviation groups reminded me of sharing these pics on the A310 at Madeira.
It doesn't show every A310 I've caught but as far as I can remember it does represent each livery I managed to get around here ...

Today, F.C.Porto arrived at Madeira to the last game of the season, with local C.S.Marítimo.

With a tight schedulle, they arrived around 12.00h at Madeira in CS-TFU, White's A319 CJ and will be departing around 00.30h to Dublin where the team will play with Braga, the final of Europe's League...

Today, the F.C.Porto soccer team arrived at Madeira, to play with local team, C.D.Nacional tomorow.

What's the interest in that for a guy that doesn't have any interest in soccer?
The plane that brought the team....obviously...LOL!

Didn't managed to get there at the time of arrival, so made a quick stop a couple of hours later just to shoot some pics of it.
It's one I never photographed and a rare type of bird around here...
Curiously, it holds the same colors of the team it brought...white and blue...

Last Thursday noticed, on the afternoon, that the Condor flight was beeing made by CS-TQK, from White.
The week before the same had already happened but as it was a first day of flights after a the ashes shut the airport for a few days, thought that it was related to the need of extra flights....

Didn't go to the airport the last week but on the one before, did get that White, making a Condor flight in the morning (it came back on the afternoon, although I didn't get it then)

It was a rainy early morning and the little sun was on the wrong place...ISO400 and 1/250 at 363mm...
Defnitely not the best conditions.... After a few arrivals we went to the terminal's balcony to shot the departures and other arrivals, as runway in use changed to 23 and on the "cargo", we get nothing of that runway.
