New Photo of the Week: Haribo Tropifrutti

Imagem
Tuifly is one of those airlines local spotters can trust it will bring its special liveries to Madeira, oposite to others... Last week, there it was, on its way from Basel, Switzerland, the newest Tuifly special livery, the amazing Haribo Tropifrutti (D-ATUJ) A big thumbs up to Tuifly ;) Definitly worth Photo of the Week title, if not for the quality of the pic, certainly for the livery of the plane... Landing on runway 05...let's hope Haribo/Tuifly partnership lasts for many years...it's been providing some great liveries entering the stand...unfortunately, couldn't wait for the departure...

Gold Haribo

FINALLY!!! Finally managed to the get Gold Haribo, the last one of current Tuifly special liveries... Yesterday decided to go to the airport for some spotting. It's been quite a while since I had been there for a spotting morning. Knew that the Cargo flight, from Swiftair ,was a different registration with no pics on the main photo databases and also knew that the Finnair flight was beeing made by a Smartlynx A320 . Didn't knew what else was coming and didn't care... It felt like the first times of spotting where you went to the airport completely "blind" and happy with whatever you got... I was also with no radio (bateries went out) when I noticed some plane far away, on final to runway 23, pointed my Bigma and....!!!!!! WTF?? The Golden Haribo!!! YESS!!!!! The first time I took such a long shot that was acceptable... On the back, a sistem of solar panels is beeing mounted in Caniçal. D-ATUD That white nose sure gives it an even more colourfull...

New Photo of the Week - Tuifly specials

Tomorow (...actually today, it's past mid-night...) it's Tuifly day. They're currently making 4 weekly flights to Madeira, all of them on Tuesday, which means 3 diferent planes (the first in the morning returns on the last flight of the day). Lately, Tuesdays mean "hunt" day as I'm still missing the Golden Haribo. It's been here at least a couple of times but I never managed to get it. Last weeks we've only been getting "eggs"...regular Tuifly yellow livery... Anyway, found this one among the archives last weekend and remembered that I hadn't seen this one around here also. Despite not beeing a very colorful livery (specially comparing to the Haribos) it would be still very nice to see them around here again.
