Tuifly 50 Years livery premiere

Imagem
Yesterday we got, at Madeira, for the first time, the Tuifly 50th Aniversary livery and it looks really great and brings out some nostalgic feelings, regarding the Yellow Cab and Hapag-Lloyd bits of it... B737-MAX8 D-AMAH arriving at runway 05, from Dusseldorf... Taxiing to the stand, by Wizzair A321NEO 9H-WDZ, which was getting ready for the return flight to Katowice. Didn't wait for the departure, which was to Hannover. For the sake of nostalgia...3 shots of the liveries presented on this plane (all at Madeira, of course) Hapag-Lloyd A310 D-AHFZ, back in Nov.2004 D-AHFS, with HLX livery, back in Jan.2010 Tuifly livery D-ATUN, departing from runway 23, Nov.2023

Allways nice to get a Jet2 with this kind of light... B738 G-JZHB arriving from Manchester... Curiously, it's former D-AHFS...got it once, as HLX (Hapag Lloyd Express), back in January, 7th, 2010:

ATUF

Tuifly Hapag-Lloyd B738 D-ATUF arriving at Madeira, runway 23 Despite not beeing exactly the Hapag-Lloyd livery I remember seeing back in the 90's and early 2000's, it's still nice to see this Tuifly with the Hapag-Lloyd titles...

Week Photo: Tuifly variety

Imagem
In a time when the Tui groups gets more and more homogeneous (aka...boring...) Tuifly is still standing out as the group airline with some variety of liveries and special logojets... These were taken on the same day just within an hour... Chose this one as photo of the week for the great early morning light but also for the mix that kind of ilustrates the variety of liveries.. taxiing to the gate D-AHLK, Hapag-Lloyd Albert Ballun logojet The "egg" livery...D-ATUB pushing back to runway 05

Hapag-Lloyd

Back to April, a few shots of Tuifly's Hapag-Lloyd. It's allways nice to get these colors, for a change to the regular ones... These are from the same day Portuguese Air Force Sqn.502 brought its C-295 with 60th Aniversary special livery, for the first time. Check HERE Beacon mode on ;) D-ATUF landing on runway 05 Entering the stand, while at Transavia France B738 F-GZHJ, someone is beeing taken into the ambulance.

Photo of the Week: Under the Rainbow

Last Thursday went to the airport to get some of the afternoon traffic, specially Condor's A321 with Sharklets and new livery (which I still had no pics) and the landing of Volotea (the landing of this one was also a first for me...) The weather was a bit dark and with some light rain shower wich was a bit crappy but then, this beautifull rainbow opened just over the airport...it was really beautifull and it lasted quite a long time, somethimes stronger, somethings fainter... Air Berlin's B738 D-ABME with the One World livery take-off, with an amazing rainbow The landing of Volotea's B717 EI-FBJ, "crossing" the rainbow The landing of TAP's A320 CS-TMW with the rainbow a little bit weaker Also a first...the first time I photographed White's CS-TRO landing (until then only had made a couple of night-shots of it, parked for the night) An overview of FNC/LPMA (Madeira International airport) with all of the above planes and a plus: Tui...

Easyjet Sharklets

Imagem
Last week we had a couple of Air Berlin's A330...as nice as that sounds, it's not quite new stuff for me and for now, the oportunity of making, finally, some decent shots of an Easyjet with sharklets is far more exciting, specially with this lovely afternoon light :), so Week Photo for G-EZWH, making the Bristol fligh to/from Funchal, last Thursday. Taking off to Bristol, from runway 05 with Ponta de S.Lourenço in the back  Some shots of the arrival, earlier, also to runway 05 On the back, B738 D-ATUF, also another nice catch as it has been long time since I last photographed a Tuifly with the Hapag-Lloyd modern livery.  On the departure...rotate....

Ventura e Columbo 2

Imagem

Airbus A310 at Madeira

Imagem
The posting on some FB aviation groups reminded me of sharing these pics on the A310 at Madeira. It doesn't show every A310 I've caught but as far as I can remember it does represent each livery I managed to get around here ... (got a few regs from TAP and Sata...) CS-TEI, with TAP old colors and one of my favorite shots ever 4th, Sep. 2004 Now on duty with Portuguese Hifly CS-TEX, the first A310 with TAP new colors at Madeira Feb.16th 2005 It was quite an early wake... F-GEMO, from Eagle Aviation. Got it a couple of times. It went on duty with Ariana Afghan Airlines and scrapped in June 2006... D-AHLZ, with old Hapag-Lloyd colors The same D-AHLZ, already using the colors of its next (and last) user, Siberian S7. It was quite a surprise to get this fantastic livery around here D-AIDD on Apr.19th 2005 and a very nice double catch.... This nice A310 (T.22-1), from Ejercito del Aire (Spanish Air Force) was also at Madeira, back in 2009, suppor...

Tuifly Specials

Imagem
Last Tuesday was German day.... The first ones were the Tuifly. 4 of them.... A couple of them were just regular yellow Tui livery but the other two were a couple of special liveries... !! The first (already at the airport when I arrived) was already known D-ATUE, with the  DB ICE IM ZUG ZUM FLUG livery (DB Air One) and it was expected. The other one was a surprise to me and despit I already had some pics of it, it was quite some time since I last caught it....the Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten (D-ATUF) Despite the rainy weather, D-ATUF landed with a nice sunlight! D-ATUE taxiing to runway 05 ...and departing with a great water spraying, from recent shower rain...   D-ATUF pushing back to runway 05. A big cheer group from Tui, waving World of Tui flags to the departure of  D-ATUF
