Planes and stuff

Enter Air SP-EXE B737 MAX8 arriving from Katowice with Bonza Airlines hybrid livery, although less hybrid than some time ago...titles already gone and LOT winglets also got a white circle... Built for LOT (note the winglets) but not accepted, it went as a VH-UBI to Bonza Airlines where it was in storage for a few months before finally joining the Enter Air fleet. With fellow airline SP-ESK, that arrived from Warsaw and Eurowings D-ABDU

Yesterday, we got, for the first time, Eurowings Hertz special livery. This nice livery was applied to an old known plane of the spotters...D-ABDU holded previously Air Berlin's Etihad's special livery... Unfortunatelly, was expecting a runway 05 landing but we got a 23 landing...that would be nice if the take-off was also from runway 23....well...it wasn't...it was from runway 05, so...in the morning...it used both the worst runways to photograph... at least for someone who was expecting to make some action shots on the landing/take-off... Airports of the World magazine is promoting a subscription of the magazine, offering an Extreme Airports DVD. The issue 64, makes this promotion with a pic of mine: Air Berlin / Etihad D-ABDU taking off from Madeira Airport (FNC/LPMA), check that issue HERE , check the pic of that entry, HERE This number, has the extra interesting point for a Madeirean: an article on the neighbour island of Porto Santo airport. Nice! For all those visiting Madeira (and not only...) is allways worth a visit to the neighbour island of  Porto Santo, a great place for relaxing and so diferent from Madeira, despite the proximity.

After almost two years without coming to Madeira for the first time (presented in January 2014), now the Air Berlin Etihad "Moving Forward" livery has been a regular presence at Madeira (please, don't forget to send us the #cominghomeforchristmas livery, Air Berlin ...) Yesterday  it came and the saturday before it also came...these are some pics taken last week, with take-off from runway 23 and landing in runway 05... Taking off, back to Berlin - Tegel from runway 23 with a nice light. In the apron, its Swiss "brother" HB-IOZ and Aigle Azur's A320 F-HBIX, with new livery and sharklets an hour earlier, the landing, on runway 05 Another shot of the take off...

For the second week on a row, a shot of Air Berlin / Etihad special livery as Week Photo. These were taken on the second time they brought us the plane, in Nov.21st 2015 (Check the pics from the first time,  HERE ) Photo of the Week: departing back to Germany, from runway 05 Earlier, the landing....despite it looks a rather straight forward landing, check the rudder... Finally, after soooo long, Air Berlin brought us its A320 carrying the Air Berlin / Etihad livery, D-ABDU. We've been waiting for this one, welcome :) Air Berlin's special livery page schedulles this one as coming to Madeira once more, tomorow afternoon, from Berlin-Tegel...let's hope it doesn't change... Landing on runway 05 Unfortunatelly couldn't wait for the departure.... Let's see if I manage to do a few more pics, tomorrow...
