Photo of the Week: 2026 Opening

Today went for the first spotting of 2026. 
Happy New Year everyone!

Got some interesting stuff...mainly the A339 landing later afternoon and then some panning playing on the begining of the evening...
Transavia new livery got quite a delay so, didn't wait...

The Easyjet A320 HB-AYP departure to Basel was one of the pannings that turned out ok...
1/20 panning, with ISO800, with a Canon 760D...I guess it could be worst (and a lot of the other pics were...lol)

Flying over Porto Santo

These were on the "bucket" since last November.... They were taken on the day of the activation of AM3 during a couple of passes over Porto Santo, for some aerial shots of military LPPS (AM3) and...of course, the rest of the island. Indeed a fantastic oportunity given by the Air Force to be present at such an event and my baptism on the new C-295, after beeing already "baptized" on the C-130 and the C-212 (next stop...the EH-101..LOL) The island is rather small and this is pretty much everything in one shot.... Approaching the beach (with around 9Km of fantastic golden sand...) The bubbled window provided some great views and quite a diferent framing...looks like you're outside the plane... Air Dolomiti

 Air Dolomiti Embraer 190LR I-ADJP arriving at Venice. Air Dolomiti has one of those really simple but nice liveries (personal opinion...) that fits really well on the Embraer. Curiously, the first time I made some photos on one of its planes, was also in Venice, back in 2005: I-ADLN, an ATR-72 that is now scrapped, after beeing transfered to Asian Wings Airways, in 2011...time really goes by...
