New Photo of the Week: Malev


Still no spotting this year so, went back a few years (15....been taking some shots that long??) for a catch on Malev's B738 HA-LOH...

As far as I can remember it wasn't a regular here. Got them a couple of times, maybe some more times but not a regular airline here.
Was probably more famous for its amazing low level flights over Budapest, still a nice catch, specially because it ceased operations on February 2012...

Encontrei esta semana, entre os arquivos mais antigos (de há 10 anos...) uns registos dignos de nota (não tanto pela qualidade mas, pelo momento, especialmente a esta distância temporal... ) Por hoje fica esta parelha de Dassault-Breguet Falcon 50, um da Força Aérea Francesa e outro da Esquadra 504 da Força Aérea Portuguesa....algo que nunca mais consegui apanhar desde então... 29.Out.2007 - 17403 dos Linces, em companhia de um Falcon 50 Francês.

CR7 Jet

Finally made some shots on the CR7 current jet: LX-GOL, a stunning Bombardier Global Express XRS, operated by Global Jet Luxembourg. This plane has been here for a few times but never did manage to make some shots of it. Opposite to its previous plane, this one is really nice and, like I said, with a stunning livery that looks great with this kind of light. Don't really know if he came or the plane just came to get his family but, don't really care...the plane was the aim. Check Arrived yesterday from Madrid and should depart tonight.

Flying over Porto Santo

These were on the "bucket" since last November.... They were taken on the day of the activation of AM3 during a couple of passes over Porto Santo, for some aerial shots of military LPPS (AM3) and...of course, the rest of the island. Indeed a fantastic oportunity given by the Air Force to be present at such an event and my baptism on the new C-295, after beeing already "baptized" on the C-130 and the C-212 (next stop...the EH-101..LOL) The island is rather small and this is pretty much everything in one shot.... Approaching the beach (with around 9Km of fantastic golden sand...) The bubbled window provided some great views and quite a diferent framing...looks like you're outside the plane...
