A few of Madeira Bloggers posted some highlights of 2011 LPMA traffic. Already running a bit late on the schedulled date (yesterday) but, beeing this the last day of the year, who knows if we didn't get an A380 around here... ;P It hasn't been a very good year but still, some things that are well wort remembering... Will be posting these in Alphabetic order... Agroar: For the first time, they brought a cargo plane with their own titles...check more HERE  ZS-SMJ from Safair, on duty with Agroar and used on the cargo route: Lisbon-Madeira-Lisbon Air Explore: After getting it once in 2010 , got it again once in 2011, this time, by night. Check HERE . Definitely a rare visitor at Madeira... OM-AEX Air Finland: It's also not a too regular visitor, during this year, it came with a great new livery but the real hightlight goes for the time it brought OH-AFL, wearing Allegian Air colors....check HERE Air Via: Premiered at Madeira last month on a Prime

New Photo of the Week: Transavia climbing out...

Imagem
This week, waited until today to see if Air Berlin would bring us D-ABMC, with the Christmas special livery... It would be a very nice motive for a Photo of the Week ... Well, no such luck so, decided for a Transavia pic. Although lately haven't been photographing many Transavias, I still thing it has a rather nice livery, specially for a front close-up, like this week's photo... Dia de Circo

Imagem

No...it's not the title of a joke... Today we had, for the first time (as far as I know) a Korean Air plane. Although it wasn't wearing full airline livery (was a BBJ) it's still one of the best catches of the Year... Arrived early in the morning, after a flight through the Atlantic, from Atlanta (ATL/KATL). on final to runway 05 with very nice golden light... HL8222 Taxi to Alpha 11 for a night-stop. Also on the apron, after a night stop there was 40087, a C-21 from USAFE (United States Air Force Europe) (with TF-BBE, from Bluebird Cargo arriving, on the back, from Lisbon, on the daily cargo flight to Agroar) The kind of pic you don't get accepted at Airliners.net or Jetphotos.net While waiting for the Korean, took some time to register the magnificent sunrise, behind Desertas

Nova foto da semana: C-295 Medevac Nocturna

Imagem
