Ontem, tivemos o regresso do Diamond 62 do Controlo de Pescas da UE, vindo dos Açores (Lajes) Lá fui tentar mais umas fotos, desta feita, com a 23 em uso... Antes, ainda tivemos a chegada de um Learjet 45 do Luxembourg Air Ambulance, vindo de Faro para um embarque e partida pouco depois para Valladolid LX-RSQ a chegar de Faro 9H-DGN, a chegar das Lajes...as fotos acabaram por não ficar grande "pistola"... Saída do Learjet para Valladolid, da 23, com uma descolagem extremamente curta....

From yesterday, another rare small military bird: A C-21A (a Learjet 35A), from United States Air Force Europe (registration 40087 / 84-0087), arriving from Faro (FAO/LPFR). Departed to Ramstein Air Base, during the afternoon... Curiously, had already got it back in 2011 (Check HERE )

On a dark cloudy and sometimes a bit wet morning, the departure of FAI Air Ambulance, D-CFAZ Learjet 60 to Shannon (SNN) Usually don't go to this spot in the morning, due to backlit but dark as it was, there was no diference (also wouldn't have to pay the airport parking high prices...) That's Madeira, sun at Funchal (20km away) and quite wintery at the airport... Trying out a 1/30 panning for the departure....

Back from September, a Capital Air Ambulance flight to make a Medical Transportation of someone to the UK Bombardier Learjet 45 G-XJET arriving at the apron, after a runway 23 landing. the Madeira Red Cross ambulance arriving with the personal to be embarked... A runway 23 take-off should be interesting but couldn't wait for the departure.

From the same day of Smartlynx Malta (check HERE) and Condor retro (still to publish), ADAC's Learjet 60, arriving to get a person, on an ambulance flight to Germany arriving on runway 23 love this little jet, specialy on ADAC's livery...

Back from May,  a shot on CS-TFQ, a former OMNI Learjet 45 (now operated by Air JetSul), departing from runway 23. Last time I got it was still operated by OMNI, back in 2014, HERE

From the begining of the month, on a windy day that put most of the traffic diverting to other airports, I went to the airport for the departure of local troops to Iraq (check HERE )... Was expecting to get some arrivals but with the wind out of limits (sometimes by 1kt) the planes weren't coming... Finally, after some holdings, this little Learjet 60 came in for a landing, during a break on the wind... ADAC's Learjet 60 D-CURE made way for the bigger planes...after its landing, finally traffic started coming..unfortunatelly as the planes were coming, the light was going off...

Na manhã do passado Sábado, a Vinci Airports organizou a I Edição do Vinci Airports Spotters Day. Uma excelente iniciativa para os spotters, que decorreu em vários dos aeroportos geridos por esta empresa. O Aeroporto da Madeira foi um dos locais onde decorreu esta iniciativa, permitindo a entrada no lado ar de vários spotters mais habituados a ver, fotografar e filmar um pouco mais longe.. Como seria de esperar, foram muitos os cliques...por hoje fica apenas um cheirinho com uma amostra de alguns dos movimentos...depois logo vou colocado mais umas fotos/registos desse dia... Fazendo o gosto ao dedo com o A320 F-HBAO da Aigle Azur, partindo da 05. À direita, um spotter local bem conhecido pelos seus vídeos em FNC...Façam uma visita ao seu canal de Youtube, AQUI Taxi do A320 da TAP CS-TNX, com o comandante a fazer um thumbs up ao pessoal! Sempre bom ver as tripulações interagirem com os entusiastas...claro que havia outros mais concentrados noutra coisa qualquer... Saída do...

It's been quite a long time since I last got an ADAC... I really love that livery. Simple but flashing and it looks really nice on this Learjet 60 D-CURE on a night-stop

Black Friday... well, I guess that for a spotter which doesn't like shopping this hasn't the same meaning that it has for the most people... As far as I now, no black planes today at Madeira but, still a good day for remembering the black planes traffic around here... As far as I remember photographing...not many... Only have memory of getting these 2: D-CDSM, a  FAI - Rent-a-Jet Learjet 60 TAG Aviation 752 G-TCSX performing a world tour for TCS Expeditions, back in June

At Madeira we get a lot of MEDEVAC's performed by Portuguese Air Force, from Porto Santo but other kind of medical transportations happen also regularly... From last month, the arrival of air ambulance D-CFIV, a Learjet 35 operated by Air Alliance: that cockpit should offer a nice fighter like view :)

 D-CDOC had the honour :P  of beeing the first bizjet I photographed in 2016. Went to the airport for the departure of Tarom's A310 (check HERE ) and got this Learjet 45 as the first New Year surprise :) landing on runway 05

Yesterday, made  a quick stop just to register a shot on a lonely German bizjet on the apron: D-CGGG, a Learjet 31A, from GAS Air Services And another quick shot at TAP's A320 CS-TNI tail, still with the lights on, after arrival

Ontem à noite, uns quantos corajosos do plane spotting regional decidiram dar um salto ao aeroporto para fazer umas fotos nocturnas, aproveitando a quantidade pouco habitual de TAP's que passariam pelo aeroporto, por forma a transportar os turistas e estudantes que regressam agora às suas casas / locais de estudo mas, ao chegar à varanda, foi este pequeno Learjet 45 da Luxembourg Air Rescue que me chamou à atenção... LX-EAA, com a tripulação aguardando os pacientes que iriam transportar, enquanto um TAP alinha na 05 para descolar Depois dos pacientes embarcados, era tempo de preparar a saída....com as luzes ligadas, a coisa já fica mais interessante....

Para foto desta semana  fica este registo de um Learjet 60 bem engraçado, aterrando na 05. Um registo já de 2008 que hoje me lembrei de recuperar, já que o tema de um Grupo de Fotografia do FB de hoje, era precisamente a cor preta.... It's not everyday we get to have a Falcon 7X at Madeira... Yesterday didn't manage to get its arrival and today couldn't get the departure also so, decided to go in the morning for a few shots of the bizjets in the apron. VQ-BSN parked at the apron, with Easyjet's A319 G-EZFW landing on runway 05, from Lisbon. CS-TFQ, a Learjet 45 from OMNI also parked at the apron with the extra of the fire truck test, in the back. The 3 smallies of the morning. The couple of bizjets together with CS-AYT, the Dornier 228 from Aerovip that was waiting for the return flight to Porto Santo.  G-EZFW entering the stand...was there so, might as well take the shot.

Com o novo ano, depois da mudança no cabeçalho do blog, decidi mudar igualmente a moldura utilizada para as fotos para algo que penso ter um design mais leve, mantendo no entanto a informação de base na foto.... Was reading some online news today, when I remembered that North-Americans celebrate its independence today... Congrats! It's a nice reason to share some pics of US Military Planes around here...(not usual visitors...) USCG C-130J 2005 together with an USAF KC-10 Extender ( 84-0186) 05-0730, a beautifull USAF C-40 (737) 40087, small Learjet from (C-21) from USAFE(urope), with TF-BBE, from Bluebird Cargo entering the apron and yet another pic of the KC-10 Stratotanker.... As far as I know it was the only time we got one of these around here... 2006, another C-130J from USCG that was here the same time the KC-10 and the 2005
