Back from September, a Capital Air Ambulance flight to make a Medical Transportation of someone to the UK

Bombardier Learjet 45 G-XJET arriving at the apron, after a runway 23 landing.


A runway 23 take-off should be interesting but couldn't wait for the departure.

From the same day of Smartlynx Malta (check HERE) and Condor retro (still to publish), ADAC's Learjet 60, arriving to get a person, on an ambulance flight to Germany

Back from May,  a shot on CS-TFQ, a former OMNI Learjet 45 (now operated by Air JetSul), departing from runway 23.
Last time I got it was still operated by OMNI, back in 2014, HERE

From the begining of the month,
on a windy day that put most of the traffic diverting to other airports, I went to the airport for the departure of local troops to Iraq (check HERE)...
Was expecting to get some arrivals but with the wind out of limits (sometimes by 1kt) the planes weren't coming...
Finally, after some holdings, this little Learjet 60 came in for a landing, during a break on the wind...

Na manhã do passado Sábado, a Vinci Airports organizou a I Edição do Vinci Airports Spotters Day.
Uma excelente iniciativa para os spotters, que decorreu em vários dos aeroportos geridos por esta empresa.
O Aeroporto da Madeira foi um dos locais onde decorreu esta iniciativa, permitindo a entrada no lado ar de vários spotters mais habituados a ver, fotografar e filmar um pouco mais longe..

Como seria de esperar, foram muitos os cliques...por hoje fica apenas um cheirinho com uma amostra de alguns dos movimentos...depois logo vou colocado mais umas fotos/registos desse dia...

Black Friday...
well, I guess that for a spotter which doesn't like shopping this hasn't the same meaning that it has for the most people...

As far as I now, no black planes today at Madeira but, still a good day for remembering the black planes traffic around here...

At Madeira we get a lot of MEDEVAC's performed by Portuguese Air Force, from Porto Santo but other kind of medical transportations happen also regularly...

From last month, the arrival of air ambulance D-CFIV, a Learjet 35 operated by Air Alliance:

D-CDOC had the honour :P  of beeing the first bizjet I photographed in 2016.
Went to the airport for the departure of Tarom's A310 (check HERE) and got this Learjet 45 as the first New Year surprise :)

Yesterday, made  a quick stop just to register a shot on a lonely German bizjet on the apron:

Ontem à noite, uns quantos corajosos do plane spotting regional decidiram dar um salto ao aeroporto para fazer umas fotos nocturnas, aproveitando a quantidade pouco habitual de TAP's que passariam pelo aeroporto, por forma a transportar os turistas e estudantes que regressam agora às suas casas / locais de estudo mas, ao chegar à varanda, foi este pequeno Learjet 45 da Luxembourg Air Rescue que me chamou à atenção...

Para foto desta semana  fica este registo de um Learjet 60 bem engraçado, aterrando na 05.
Um registo já de 2008 que hoje me lembrei de recuperar, já que o tema de um Grupo de Fotografia do FB de hoje, era precisamente a cor preta....

It's not everyday we get to have a Falcon 7X at Madeira...
Yesterday didn't manage to get its arrival and today couldn't get the departure also so, decided to go in the morning for a few shots of the bizjets in the apron.

Com o novo ano, depois da mudança no cabeçalho do blog, decidi mudar igualmente a moldura utilizada para as fotos para algo que penso ter um design mais leve, mantendo no entanto a informação de base na foto....

Last Saturday we had at LPMA/FNC (Madeira) a small ambulance in night-stop.

With some really nice colors it was something worth a stop at the airport for a couple of shots.
Besides that, this plane already provided me one of my favorite shots (check HERE).

Now it would be nice to get it during the night...


With the moon close to full, decided to also give it a shot before leaving...

No...it's not the title of a joke...

Today we had, for the first time (as far as I know) a Korean Air plane.
Although it wasn't wearing full airline livery (was a BBJ) it's still one of the best catches of the Year...

Arrived early in the morning, after a flight through the Atlantic, from Atlanta (ATL/KATL).
