Planes and stuff

Time of last year's highlights... A lot of interesting traffic slipped through but here's a little summary... In March, the first shots at the British Airways A320NEO G-TTNA Better World livery, both during the day and (a lot more rare here), during the night, HERE Also in March, finally, the first shots at Enter Air New Gen livery, on B738 SP-ESK...check HERE Still in March, a first time Hungarian Air Force A319, from Budapest, 604, check HERE In May, the last shots at Blue Air, that went bankrupt later that year, HERE B738 YR-MXB, arriving from Bucarest: Also in May, Corendon's Hull City special livery, with B738 9H-CXG, HERE Continuing in May, Eurowings A320 D-AEWM with the new BvB Borussia Dortmund special livery, check HERE Another big highlight in May was the first of 2 long waited Icelandair special liveries... Icelandair 80 Years of Aviation, on B752 TF-FIR, HERE In June, a couple of catches at a Euroatlantic B767...both Euroatlantic and the B767 are quite rare arou...

A strange year, 2020 hadn't many moments worth highlighting, at Madeira Airport... Still, there were a few... On January got my last shots on a Norwegian Air Shuttle (and most probably the last ones ever...) (Check HERE ) On February, Great Dane made its first flight to Madeira, with the Embraer 195LR OY-GDA (check HERE ): Also on February another highlight from Denmark...Danish Air Force C-130 with United Nations titles. (Check HERE ) On March, Eurowings provided us a couple of nice catches... A320 D-ABDQ with the Europa Park livery (check HERE ) and D-ABDU, with the Hertz livery (check HERE ): This summer, the firefighting helicopter was a Wucher Helicopter one... Check HERE On October, Luxair brought us, for the first time, its special livery on LX-LGU (check HERE ) On December, a couple of highlights... TAP brought us, for the first time, its new retro livery plane, A321NEO CS-TJR. Check HERE The other (and one of the highlights of the year) was Wizz Air first flight to Madeira...

Happy New Year everyone! Time for last year's highlights! It took its time but, last year, Eurowings brought us some of its special liveries... In January, I got the Borussia Dortmund livery on A320 D-AIZR. Check HERE Also in January made my last pic's on Germania's B737 special livery D-AGER...and unfortunately, ones of the lasts to Germania also, has it went bankrupt in 5.Feb.2019. Check HERE In March (17th) got, for the first time Austrian most recent retro livery. A320 OE-LBO (check HERE ): Also in March, got A320 D-ABDU, which hosted previously Air Berlin Etihad special livery, now on service with Eurowings and with special livery Hertz. Last year has been marked by the disappearance of 3 major visitors at Madeira Airport: Monarch, Air Berlin and Niki so, the first highlights should be definitely to these airlines that flew the Madeira skies for so many years...
