Planes and stuff

On a quick stop today, a couple of Bizjets at the far positions of the apron. Cristiano Ronaldo's (CR7) Gulfstream G200 (he arrived yesterday for a couple of days at his home town of Funchal) and a beaultiful brazilian Cessna 750 Citation X Despite this livery is nothing too special, these Citation X are definitely my favourite bizjets! PP-JMJ, arrived today from Cascais and will depart tomorrow for Fortaleza EC-KBC, Cristiano Ronaldo's Gulfstream G200 is really an ugly bizjet... I know...it's a personal opinion...but...never managed to like this model...specialy lying next to a Citation X... 

Na passada terça-feira tivemos o Falcon 50 da Esquadra 504 da Força Aérea em nigh-stop. Acabei por não ir fazer umas nocturnas mas, ontem lá tive oportunidade de fazer umas fotos à saída do Presidente da Republica Portuguesa, após a cerimónia de alteração do nome do Aeroporto. Ao início da manhã, o 17402, com cores nacionais civis a taxiarem para o stand, após aterragem na 23 (A319 da TAP, CS-TTJ) Uma panorâmica da zona da placa onde se encontrava o Falcon 50 da Força Aérea e o Gulfstream G200 EC-KBC da TAG Aviation Espanha, que transportou o Cristiano Ronaldo, com o Easyjet de LIS a chegar (G-EZFD) Já pronto já receber o Presidente da República Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, com a sua simpatia habitual taxiando para a 23, através do Charlie, com backtrack

Yesterday, went to Santa Cruz before lunch. Wasn't going for the spotting but like allways, when going near the airport, took my camera with me... As I was leaving Funchal, another spotter had already told me that Thomas Cook Belgium OO-TCN with Alice in Wonderland special livery had landed. Had been chasing this one for a long time... Not the kind of pic suitable for Airliners or Jetphotos but couldn't wait for the departure... Still, a great catch for the personal record. When I was returning to Funchal, another great surprise: LN-NOL, the 6000th 737 with special markings on the tail. Another great catch! Once more couldn't wait for the departure, so just for the blog and personal records. HB-JGL (Gulfstream G200), from TAG Aviation was also departing
