Planes and stuff

From February, a 1/40 panning of Easyjet's 319 G-EZFW landing at Madeira's runway 05, late afternoon:

It's not everyday we get to have a Falcon 7X at Madeira... Yesterday didn't manage to get its arrival and today couldn't get the departure also so, decided to go in the morning for a few shots of the bizjets in the apron. VQ-BSN parked at the apron, with Easyjet's A319 G-EZFW landing on runway 05, from Lisbon. CS-TFQ, a Learjet 45 from OMNI also parked at the apron with the extra of the fire truck test, in the back. The 3 smallies of the morning. The couple of bizjets together with CS-AYT, the Dornier 228 from Aerovip that was waiting for the return flight to Porto Santo.  G-EZFW entering the stand...was there so, might as well take the shot.

Last monday, went, for the first time on these vacations, to the airport for an afternoon of spotting. Lucky me, runway 23 was in use so, decided to try out a few diferent spots for the take-offs. The best framings didn't turn out as good as I wanted (out of focus and some heat haze) but still, these points turned out to be some good locations, to explore further more... My favorite of the day...PGA's Foker 100 CS-TPC climbing out from runway 23, to Lisbon (LIS/LPPT) One of the targets of the day...it's been a long time since I last had photographed a Luxair and I really do like its livery... LX-LGQ landing on 23 and the take off...too bad the best framing pics, with the airport in the back turned out too crappy... Very early take off for Easyjet's  G-EZIO, photographed from the most usual spotting point... Another of my favorite pics of the day...
