Planes and stuff

 On a quick stop, Sunday afternoon.... Unfortunatelly missed by less than 5 minutes, the arrival of Tuifly RIU Hotels Special livery D-ATUZ, the main point of interest of the stop... Anyway, nice to get the take-off run of Smartwings B737 OK-SWW, back to Prague (PRG/LKPR) B738 D-ATUE taxiing to the gate, on taxiway Bravo, after arriving from Stuttgart (STR/EDDS) Tuifly B738 D-ATUM turning on the runway, after arriving from Dusseldorf (DUS/EDDL) The departure of TAP's A321NEO CS-TJM to Lisbon (LIS/LPPT)

In a time when the Tui groups gets more and more homogeneous (aka...boring...) Tuifly is still standing out as the group airline with some variety of liveries and special logojets... These were taken on the same day just within an hour... Chose this one as photo of the week for the great early morning light but also for the mix that kind of ilustrates the variety of liveries.. taxiing to the gate D-AHLK, Hapag-Lloyd Albert Ballun logojet The "egg" livery...D-ATUB pushing back to runway 05

Last Sep.29th 2016 was a day of small firsts... After getting, for the first time, EI-STA with the new ASL livery (check HERE ), and TAP's CS-TTU with the airline's 70th aniversary sticker (check HERE ), got Condor's B753 D-ABOC with the Hannover Airport sticker, also for the first time... Didn't manage to get the arrival so, a few pics of the departure.... taxiiing to runway 05 with TAP's A319 and A320 CS-TNN and CS-TTU and Tuifly's B738 D-ATUE taxiway Charlie

The same day of the arrival of Korean Air BBJ (HL8222), right after the arrival of the Bluebird and Korean,  we had also a special arrival, from Tuifly... D-ATUE, the DB1 special livery Some faces on the windows, curiously looking at Madeira airport

Like I mentioned last week, finally caught the DB Regio. Despite the regular Tuifly livery beeing nothing too thrilling (although the yellow livery looks a lot better than the blue one...) still, Tuifly has been the airline that comes to Madeira with the most special liveries and great ones! So, a small selection of these liveries, that I've caught, during times... D-ATUF 's Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrt looks a lot like the old Hapag Lloyd livery (but it's a pretty sight indeed...) D-ATUD, the Goldbaren Haribo was also one that I was after for quite a while before getting it... Fantástic livery! D-AHFZ, a nice livery but not too outstanding...never managed to get it in sunny days... The day's I photographed it, the only sun was the one on the tail... D-AHFM, the Blue Haribo looks really nice but the Golden one beats it, no doubt.... D-ATUE the DB1 Regio, really great livery (but the 2, red, looks a lot more colorful...) Only caught it in rainy day...

Last Tuesday was German day.... The first ones were the Tuifly. 4 of them.... A couple of them were just regular yellow Tui livery but the other two were a couple of special liveries... !! The first (already at the airport when I arrived) was already known D-ATUE, with the  DB ICE IM ZUG ZUM FLUG livery (DB Air One) and it was expected. The other one was a surprise to me and despit I already had some pics of it, it was quite some time since I last caught it....the Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten (D-ATUF) Despite the rainy weather, D-ATUF landed with a nice sunlight! D-ATUE taxiing to runway 05 ...and departing with a great water spraying, from recent shower rain...   D-ATUF pushing back to runway 05. Today we had a couple of Tuifly special liveries... The first one was the great new livery "DB Air One"! Together with D-ATUC this was one of the most expected planes, these days... Too bad the wheather wasn't as happy for the livery as we were... It arrived early in the morning...quite a dark morning....
