 Alguns registos da excelente saída do C-295 16706 "Medic26" da Madeira, de regresso ao Porto Santo, após Evacuação Médic, sempre em low-level, prosseguindo junto à costa leste da Madeira, antes de continuar para o AM3 - Porto Santo (alguém deve ter feito uma filmagem interessante, a partir da janela de bolha... :)  ) Iniciando o taxi, com o privado 9H-MGM, um Cessna 560XL Citation, da Air Charter Scotland Europe, que também partiria, pouco depois, para o Porto Santo.

Smartwings Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign+ OK-JRT on a night-stop at Madeira... Was expecting to get Portuguese Air Force Falcon 50 17401 on a Medical Evacuation, from Porto Santo but it went for a stand far from the balcony...

Back to 2016, an Aeroclub Como Cessna 172 Skyhawk II (I-SAAB) on a final pass at the end of the afternoon, before sealanding at Lago di Como....

Back to December, a couple of shots of the departure of Netjets Cessna Citation Latitude CS-LTC from runway 23 to Southampton (SOU/EGHI), later afternoon.

 From the same day of TAP's new retro (check HERE ), a few shots of the departure of Jet2 B738 G-JZHG Despite the runway change from 23 to 05, this plane choose to depart from runway 23 and made an unsual taxi to that runway trough taxiway Charlie, backtracking to rwy 23. take-off...didn't manage to get any aceptable shot with the retro on the back... On the far end, private Cessna 525 F-HRSC (check its departure HERE )

From the same day of WizzAir first flight, a lucky catch...the departure of a small French Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2+  Allways nice to get these small birds...wouldn't go to the airport just for it but it's nice as a lucky catch F-HRSC, taxiing to runway 05 rotate on a take-off run that wasn't very long...

Não deixa de ser curioso o facto de um dos movimentos mais "interessantes" dos últimos tempos, ser um pequeno Cessna 150 que tem andado muito activo por cá nos últimos tempos...afinal de contas, é um tipo de aparelho bem raro por cá...(mas por outro lado...diz muito do cada vez menor tráfego dos últimos tempos...) F-BUMA, a chegar de mais um dos muitos voos que tem feito nos últimos tempos, com um sticker do ACTV - Aeroclube de Torres Vedras, ma cauda

Tive por estes dias a oportunidade de fotografar, pela primeira vez, alguns hidroaviões. Ainda estava com esperança de poder ver algum Canadair em acção mas, tive de contentar-me com os Cessnas do Aeroclube local, o que foi já muito bom: N206BJ, um Cessna U206G Stationair 6, de registo norte-americano I-SAAB, um Cessna 172N Skyhawk 100 II que, aparentemente está também ao serviço da Protecção Civil, efectuando o taxi para a rampa de acesso ao hangar, já com o sol atrás das montanhas, para o lado Suíço Alguns dos aparelhos que já se encontravam guardados ao final do dia, no Hangar do Aeroclube do Lago di Como. I-PVLC (Cessna 172N Skyhawk 100 II) e I-DROV (Cessna R172K Hawk XP II) sobrevoo do I-SAAB antes da aterragem no Lago, lá mais ao fundo....

Esta semana, o Aeroclube da Madeira teve uma adição à sua frota...um Reims-Cessna FTB337G ex-FAP (3725 na FAP). Depois de um primeiro aparelho deste tipo há uns anos atrás, que acabou vendido, o ACM volta a ter um bimotor. Ficam alguns registos da chegada à Madeira, pelas mãos de um dos pilotos instrutores do Aeroclube e do anterior dono. A hora/luz não era a mais favorável mas, fica o registo, certamente não faltarão oportunidades para melhores fotos... primeiro toque do CS-DIT na Madeira Ainda com o símbolo de uma empresa a que pertenceu.... Esperemos que seja substituído em breve pelo logo do Aeroclube da Madeira.

Titan Airways has quite a great livery. It was one airline I allways looked forward to see here, at Madeira... Well, my wish came through, even if in small package :) Titan Airways Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 taking off this morning to Fuerteventura (FUE / GCFV) Arrived last Sunday and departed this morning. Despite plane spotting is a hobby, sometimes it can be quite stressfull...specially when you'r running late for a plane and you get every slow and not moving thing ahead of you right to the entrance of the airport parking.... Anyway...still managed to arrive at the airport's balcony just in time to see it disapearing in the runway to line up and to make this shot of its departure....could be worse... Thanks for the Heads-Up! ;)

On the day of Volotea's premiere (check HERE ) there was also the departure of this german bizjet that had been around here for a couple of days: D-CHRC on the back West Air Europe's BAe ATP LX-WAE was unloading the cargo from its daily flight from Lisbon. This weekend received an email from the F/O of OK-MAR, a Cessna Citiation 525A that I photographed in  July. It was on the same day of Air Nostrum CRJ-1000 premiere at Madeira (Check HERE ) Decided to look for the rest of the pics I'd taken to that plane on that day...unfortunately it was just another one, besides the one published at Airliners and the one at Airliners Keep flying high Jan!

Got today my first plane pics of the year. It was something small but new (at least for me...) and with some colors that were rather nice... Too bad about the dark weather... OK-SLX, from Silesia Air Cessna 560XL Citation Excel Noticeable in the pics some grain...had to use ISO400... Nice catch. It was supposed to make just a small technical scale...didn't wait to see. 16701, a C-295 from Portuguese Air Force was also around on its weekly flight but didn't get it....

Yesterday was browsing some old pics when I noticed this one, that was still on my archives of original shots, untouched.... Really like the framing, the sharpness and amazing sky and clouds of this one... With a polarizer this one would be even more interesting, for sure...but it was taken just using the old 300D and 18-55 lens...

This plane has been coming here for a while, sometimes to make some aerial photography on the island, some times on ferry flights to/from the Azores. A big thumbs up for the pilots ;) Knowing the pilots, I had the extra motivation to shoot some pics for them... This time he was doing a ferry flight from Cascais (LPCS) to Lajes (LPLA), via Madeira (LPMA) and Santa Maria (LPAZ). The day before got some crappy pics of their arrival from Cascais so, on this day went on time to the airport to get their departure to Santa Maria. After all, they used the good weather for a local flight, before departing to Santa Maria, to shoot some aerial pics that were still missing on the island, due to clouds on previous flights. Taking off, for the aerial shooting flight.... Returning for refueling and preparing the fligth to the Azores... Preparing the flight to the Azores.... This day (26.Jul.2009) I was at Calheta (Porto Santo) when I noticed that there was something diferent coming in for landing. It was something rather small but diferent... Just before going to lunch made a quick stop at the airport. It was a Swiss Cessna that made a refuel stop, before proceeding to Ponta Delgada (Azores). A very nice tail... A couple of days later, Luís Correia caught it at Faial. You can see some pics HERE Going for the crossing of the Atlantic??

This week's photo will be dedicated to smaller birds. No special reason at all, was just browsing my photos, searching for some interesting photo when I noticed this one: It's a pic I really enjoy, I like the framing and colors. I also find the livery (specialy the tail) of this little bird a very nice one! Besides this one, on that day, also got a couple more pics of 2 litle birds with some meaning: This shot of CS-AYY must be one of my best and favorite bizjets photos. And on that day, also got the gone CS-DIR on one of its flights... Regarding the airliners, there were a few nice catches on that day, but as this post is dedicated to small birds, I'll just share this one, of last week's Photo of the Week , still on the old colors...
