Planes and stuff

O A320 da TAP Star Alliance CS-TNP é um daqueles TAP's que nunca me importo de repetir...Claro que neste caso, não é propriamente uma repetição, já que nunca o tinha apanhado a aterrar na 23, ainda por cima com aquele solzinho de final de tarde... na final para a 23 smoke on!

Com a saída do A330 CS-TOH da frota, o A320 CS-TNP "Alexandre O'Neil" passa a ser o único aparelho da companhia a ostentar a pintura Star Alliance... Alguém sabe se algum outro aparelho será pintado neste esquema (especificamente na frota de longo curso...)? Push-back para a 05 A exemplo do que acontece com outros aparelhos da companhia (uns bem mais que outros...), o TNP já começa a mostrar algum primário...

Um registo do ano passado, que ainda não tinha partilhado...com o já conhecido A320 CS-TNP da TAP, com as cores Star Alliance em primeiro plano, o ponto de interesse estava lá mais atrás, meio escondido, na sombra.... Refiro-me claro ao B-8981, o A330 da Capital Airlines que tinha efetuado o voo Pequim-Lisboa. Mesmo pouco perceptível é o único registo que tenho desta companhia... De qualquer forma, a luz matinal em Lisboa, mesmo através das janelas do terminal é bem fantástica!

No dia em que apanhei o TAP Star Alliance pela primeira vez com sharklets (ver AQUI ), tive a companhia da spotter mais pequena :) Depois de uma selecção e pequeno tratamento (muito pequeno, por sinal...) cá ficam duas das fotos deste dia, de sua autoria, com uma Canon 550d + Canon 17-85 :) CS-TNP com as cores Star Alliance e sharklets fresquinhos B738 F-GZHX taxiando para a 05

Lá de vez em quando a nossa companhia de bandeira sempre nos vai dando uns motivos de destaque, o que não é fácil, face ao hábito de vê-los por cá... Desta feita, o destaque vai para a primeira vez que fotografo o CS-TNP (A320 com a pintura Star Alliance) após a instalação das sharklets... Fica bem mais interessante que os originais wingtips, apesar da opção pela pintura apenas em branco das mesmas, que neste caso, até se compreende, face ao esquema Star Alliance, ostentado pelo aparelho... aterrando na 05, num dia de meteo bem mais favorável que a destes últimos dias :) chegada ao stand...

Last monday we got Easyjet's A320 carrying the 20th Aniversary livery (G-EZOX) for the first time. The sun was nice on runway 05 but the wind was a bit tricky and, after it's airline "brother" G-EZFM made a go-around with tail-wind (check HERE), this one landed on runway 23... So...no landing pics...just got it coming to a stop and entering the apron, through taxiway "Charlie"... turned out to be a livery that really doesn't look that nice (for me, at least...) but..its always a nice catch for the records...

Like I mentioned on the post regarding the Easyjet go-around, last monday (check HERE ), British Airways flight diverted to neighbour island of Porto Santo (LPPS / PXO) after it didn't manage to land at Madeira, making another try, from that island, some time after... BA A320 G-GATK entering the apron, through taxiway Charlie, with a nice background with a couple of Easyjet's, including 20th aniversary special livery G-EZOX (for the first time at Madeira), and TAP Star Alliance CS-TNP

Ao longo de todos estes anos, nunca tinha feito umas fotos a um aparelho com as cores Star Alliance (em especial aos TAP A320 CS-TNP ou A330 CS-TOH) que me deixasse realmente satisfeito com o resultado final... Ontem, foi dia de "romaria" ao aeroporto, devido à vinda, pela primeira vez, do Easyjet com a pintura dos 20 anos da companhia (G-EZOX), o que permitiu alguns registos de bónus, como este CS-TNP, que finalmente ficou mais a gosto.... :)

This weekend's Top news were related with the accident of cruise ship Costa Concordia, in the Italian island of Giglio... An unfortunate event....still, on a ship with more than 4000 people, things could have been a lot worst (but should have been a lot better, with no accident at all...) Anyway, curiously, last week, the arrival that another cruise ship made to Madeira had called my attention due to the proximity to the land. Not usual to see cruise ships passing by so close to the airport....still, some nice pics... TAP's A320 CS-TNP getting ready to the departure with Saga Pearl II passing by a lot closer than most cruise ships amother one, with TF-BBE, from Bluebird Cargo After passing by the airport's terminal, set course further off the coast, heading to Funchal.

FINALLY!!! Finally managed to the get Gold Haribo, the last one of current Tuifly special liveries... Yesterday decided to go to the airport for some spotting. It's been quite a while since I had been there for a spotting morning. Knew that the Cargo flight, from Swiftair ,was a different registration with no pics on the main photo databases and also knew that the Finnair flight was beeing made by a Smartlynx A320 . Didn't knew what else was coming and didn't care... It felt like the first times of spotting where you went to the airport completely "blind" and happy with whatever you got... I was also with no radio (bateries went out) when I noticed some plane far away, on final to runway 23, pointed my Bigma and....!!!!!! WTF?? The Golden Haribo!!! YESS!!!!! The first time I took such a long shot that was acceptable... On the back, a sistem of solar panels is beeing mounted in Caniçal. D-ATUD That white nose sure gives it an even more colourfull...
