Vinci Airports Spotters Day 2018 - Madeira (FNC/LPMA)

Imagem
Na manhã do passado Sábado, a Vinci Airports organizou a I Edição do Vinci Airports Spotters Day. Saída do...

A French TAP

Imagem
TAP has leased a couple of Aigle Azur's for the summer. Despite some rumours and images of special stickers for these planes, their're still white with Aigle Azur tails and small Operated By TAP stickers on the nose. TAP's (Aigle Azur lease) A319 F-HBAL arriving to the stand Haven't made any run for getting these, despite the many flights they've been making to Madeira but still, already managed to get a shot of F-HBIS at Lisbon (check HERE ) and now, of F-HBAL, on the night of the Brazilian Challenger 350 (check HERE ) The record is made, unless they really get some nice stickers into the planes :)

Spotting télélé...

Imagem

Aigle Azur at 1/40

Back to March, from the same day we had the couple of Sata's A310 (check HERE ) a couple of shots of Aigle Azur. It's an airline with a nice livery. Unfortunately, lately has been coming around lunch time, on Saturdays...no good... A320 F-HBIB during the take-off run, on a 1/40 panning... During taxi with Transavia's B738 PH-HXA on the back

The last couple of days the sun's been shining at Madeira but, for now, an Aigle Azur shot from a rainy day... A320 F-HFUL departing from runway 23, back to France. Down on the apron, a Thomas Cook Belgium that stayed overnight due to crew rest time. The passengers were flown out of Madeira by a Condor 321 that came to Madeira on purpose.

Foto da semana: Regresso da Lufthansa

Imagem

Published: D-ABDU at Madeira, in Airports of the World

Imagem
Airports of the World magazine is promoting a subscription of the magazine, offering an Extreme Airports DVD. The issue 64, makes this promotion with a pic of mine: Air Berlin / Etihad D-ABDU taking off from Madeira Airport (FNC/LPMA), check that issue HERE , check the pic of that entry, HERE This number, has the extra interesting point for a Madeirean: an article on the neighbour island of Porto Santo airport. Nice! For all those visiting Madeira (and not only...) is allways worth a visit to the neighbour island of  Porto Santo, a great place for relaxing and so diferent from Madeira, despite the proximity.

Aigle Azur on both runways

Imagem
Back to December, a couple of shots from Aigle Azur A320 with Sharkets F-HBIX. The landing was on runway 05 and the take-off on runway 23 with a great light...despite the early take-off....

New Photo of the Week: Air Berlin Etihad from 23

Imagem
After almost two years without coming to Madeira for the first time (presented in January 2014), now the Air Berlin Etihad "Moving Forward" livery has been a regular presence at Madeira (please, don't forget to send us the #cominghomeforchristmas livery, Air Berlin ...) Yesterday  it came and the saturday before it also came...these are some pics taken last week, with take-off from runway 23 and landing in runway 05... Taking off, back to Berlin - Tegel from runway 23 with a nice light. In the apron, its Swiss "brother" HB-IOZ and Aigle Azur's A320 F-HBIX, with new livery and sharklets an hour earlier, the landing, on runway 05 Another shot of the take off...

Aigle Azur

Yesterday, Air Berling brought us its latest logojet. Not a great livery but well worth the trip to the airport, for some spotting and hanging a bit with the guys...more on the Air Berlin, later... For now, a few shots of yesterday's Aigle Azur, after a while without making any pics of it, this was the first time this year I got the new colors... A320 F-HBIS on final to runway 05  For the departure I tryed a 1/50 panning... Not perfect but I guess I could do a lot worse...(and I did, with other planes...lol)

French old colors

Now that a few of Transavia and Aigle Azur planes are already with the new liveries, here's a few pics from the beggining of last month, with a few of their planes still on the "old" livery... From London and back

Imagem
Some pics of the Easyjet from London, arriving later afternoon and departing already by night... Easyjet's A319 G-EZFS landing on runway 05 despite the dark afternoon, it arrived at the stand under the last glorious rays of sunlight... On its side, one of Transavia France's B737 of the afternoon (F-GZHM) and another A319 from Aigle Azur. Linned up at runway 05 for the departure to London. Managed to make this shot because it holded there for quite a long time, waiting for approaching Aerovip Do-228 CS-AYT cleared the departure path, as it was approaching from Porto Santo.

Foto da Semana: Aigle Azur Sharklets

Imagem
