Fishery Inspection

Yesterday arrived from Faro 9H-DGN, a Diamond DA62 of the EU Fishery Inspection.
Quite a rare bird...unfortunatelly couldn't get the arrival....

Went this morning for the departure but it departured to Santa Maria earlier than schedulled at FR24...still managed a couple of shots just outside the airport terminal...not the perfect situation but still enough for the record, with the distance (300mm and a big crop...) and the first sunlight barely geting to the plane....

Maybe I'm able to get another shot on the return flight (if coming through Madeira...)

Flying over Porto Santo

These were on the "bucket" since last November.... They were taken on the day of the activation of AM3 during a couple of passes over Porto Santo, for some aerial shots of military LPPS (AM3) and...of course, the rest of the island. Indeed a fantastic oportunity given by the Air Force to be present at such an event and my baptism on the new C-295, after beeing already "baptized" on the C-130 and the C-212 (next stop...the EH-101..LOL) The island is rather small and this is pretty much everything in one shot.... Approaching the beach (with around 9Km of fantastic golden sand...) The bubbled window provided some great views and quite a diferent framing...looks like you're outside the plane... Air Dolomiti

 Air Dolomiti Embraer 190LR I-ADJP arriving at Venice. Air Dolomiti has one of those really simple but nice liveries (personal opinion...) that fits really well on the Embraer. Curiously, the first time I made some photos on one of its planes, was also in Venice, back in 2005: I-ADLN, an ATR-72 that is now scrapped, after beeing transfered to Asian Wings Airways, in 2011...time really goes by...
