Planes and stuff

Some pics of the Easyjet from London, arriving later afternoon and departing already by night... Easyjet's A319 G-EZFS landing on runway 05 despite the dark afternoon, it arrived at the stand under the last glorious rays of sunlight... On its side, one of Transavia France's B737 of the afternoon (F-GZHM) and another A319 from Aigle Azur. Linned up at runway 05 for the departure to London. Managed to make this shot because it holded there for quite a long time, waiting for approaching Aerovip Do-228 CS-AYT cleared the departure path, as it was approaching from Porto Santo.

It's those days of the year when people start arriving for Madeira's famous Reveillon. This morning we had a Privilege flight from Madrid. Had already seen a few times their 757 around here but it was the first time I saw its ERJ-145. A nice catch to end the year... (as it was probably my last spotting session of the year, also...) EC-KSS just after touchdown on runway 05 Air Europa titles...something also unsual around here. arriving to the stand  and, the positioned departure back to Madrid. Rotate and good-bye... See you next year (for the return trip of the passengers)

Para foto da semana, fica um registo do final da tarde no aeroporto da Madeira, com a aterragem de um Fokker 100 da PGA (garanto que está ali na pista....) Na placa LN-NOH e LN-DYJ, um par de 738 da Norwegian, oriundos de Copenhaga e Londres, além do CS-TTR (A319 da TAP) e do pequeno CS-DXT, um Cessna 560XL Citation XLS da Netjets. No holding do Charlie, o G-EZFS da Easyjet, de regresso a Londres. e...claro o Fokker 100 da PGA aterrando na 05....(ou pelo menos as suas luzes... ;)  )

Hoje os Aeroportos da Madeira, juntamente com a Força Aérea Portuguesa, organizaram a chegada do Pai Natal de uma forma diferente... :) C295 16710, Operado pela Esquadra 502 e actualmente destacado no Porto Santo (AM3) preparando-se para sair....  Entretanto, na varanda do Aeroporto, a animação destinada à pequenada juntava pequenos e graúdos em volta das animadoras...  Após uma passagem de verificação, o C-295 efectuou a largada do Pai Natal, que este ano, chegou de pára-quedas :) Chegada do 2º Para-quedista com as cores da Região Os bombeiros do aeroporto juntaram-se igualmente à festa, com as suas sirenes....  Por fim, o topo da cereja, senão para a pequenada, pelo menos para os spotters presentes.... Um low-pass do C-295, antes de prosseguir para o Porto Santo...

Agora que temos a Swiftair de regresso (com ATR-42), fica a recuperação de uma foto de um "frigorífico" de carga desta companhia, de 2010, que ainda não tinha publicado. B737 EC-KRA com outro aparelho que na altura era comum mas, que agora já desapareceu dos céus madeirenses: um A320 da Sata ( CS-TKL ) Só por curiosidade, nesse dia tivemos o 767 da Euroatlantic, coisa rara por cá (ver AQUI ) Igualmente interessante nesse dia, a operação de colocação do leme traseiro do CS-TGL, o ATP da Sata que então fazia as ligações Madeira-Porto Santo-Madeira. Beeing an holliday, today had finally the the oportunity of getting Finnair Christmas special livery. Finnair's A321 with sharklets OH-LZL arriving from Helsinki with Santa Claus Official Airline livery. Some of the end of the afternoon traffic, with SAS's LN-RNU on downwind (check the sky)  Take off back to Helsinki after a big rain and with the light almost gone due to the clouds...
