Back to December 2025, with runway 23 in use, a sequence on the departure of Wizz Air A321NEO HA-LGP, from Madeira to Vienna...always interesting to get runway 23 in use...

Finally some inflight shots of WizzAir A321NEO 9H-WNM Fly the Greenest livery... Already got it twice but only taxiing into the stand...definitely not my fav kind of photo... On final to runway 05, from Katowice

Today I got, for the first time, Wizzair's special 250th livery, arriving from Budapest. Got it...next time, will try to improve it...

 Waiting for this one for a long time...almost didn't noticed it...Thanks, Afonso :) Not the best weather but as it's said...first you register, then you improve it... Wizzair A321 9H-WNM "Fly the Greenest" livery, starting to push-back, for the return flight to Rome Fiumicino, with Sata A320 CS-TSK "Pure" by its side. As far as I noticed, the first time at Madeira.

 Yesterday we got, for the first time, and still smelling the fresh paint, Wizzair special livery, regarding the Hungary Olympic Team... A321 HA-LGI, arriving at Madeira's runway 23, from Budapest... Today was also marked my the accident at Beja Air Show with the colision of a couple of Yak Stars display team, with 1 dead and another injured....my toughts for the family and friends of the ones afftected by this event...

Yesterday we got, at Madeira, for the first time, the Tuifly 50th Aniversary livery and it looks really great and brings out some nostalgic feelings, regarding the Yellow Cab and Hapag-Lloyd bits of it... B737-MAX8 D-AMAH arriving at runway 05, from Dusseldorf... Taxiing to the stand, by Wizzair A321NEO 9H-WDZ, which was getting ready for the return flight to Katowice. Didn't wait for the departure, which was to Hannover. For the sake of nostalgia...3 shots of the liveries presented on this plane (all at Madeira, of course) Hapag-Lloyd A310 D-AHFZ, back in Nov.2004 D-AHFS, with HLX livery, back in Jan.2010 Tuifly livery D-ATUN, departing from runway 23, Nov.2023

From today, on a quick stop at the airport.... Easyjet A320 OE-IVT, pushing-back, for the return flight to Lisbon, with a couple of Wizzair "escorts". A321 9H-WAC (Viena) and A321 HA-LVJ (Warsaw)

Back to April, a nice colorful apron, with some dark background... Also, the presence of a Trade Air which isn't that common at Madeira.

Back to February, the departure of Wizz Air A321NEO 9H-WAE, from runway 23 at the end of the afternoon... Had already published some pics of its arrival, HERE

They've been coming for some time but, last saturday was the first time I got a Wiz Air Malta plane. Arriving to runway 23, that cockpit mask looks rather nice. With Ponta de São Lourenço on the back and the beacon...the famous beacon that I find so hard to get... :)
