Planes and stuff

It's allways nice to get Tuifly D-ATUZ, with the RIU Hotels special livery. In this case, double luck...was one of those days, when the wind causes real problems at LPMA...during the afternoon a lot of planes had trouble landing and diverted or went to holding. Just after I arrived, the Tuifly got the clearance to land....and right after the landing, the winds went out of limits again for at least one more hour....so, a quick stop that really payed for getting this one...

Tried a diferent spot for the lining up of the Binter ATR-72 EC-NGF on runway 05 but ended up not resulting quite as expected... With TAP A339 CS-TUD, Easyjet A321 G-UZMC, Transavia A321 PH-YHS and Tuifly B7378 D-ATYL on the apron... The main purpose was trying to get a dual shot with Binter and Norwegian Epic cruise ship that had departed from Funchal but I was too low and level with the runway to get them both in a decent framing

 A shot on the departure of Tuifly's 50th Aniversary special livery at Madeira, yesterday. The arrival must have been interesting, with a go-around before landing on second atempt but, unfortunatelly couldn't be there for the arrival... Back to July, an overview, on a day planes were beeing diverted from Madeira, probably due to wind out of limits...can't remember...(could be visibility but, more probably, winds...)

Yesterday we got, at Madeira, for the first time, the Tuifly 50th Aniversary livery and it looks really great and brings out some nostalgic feelings, regarding the Yellow Cab and Hapag-Lloyd bits of it... B737-MAX8 D-AMAH arriving at runway 05, from Dusseldorf... Taxiing to the stand, by Wizzair A321NEO 9H-WDZ, which was getting ready for the return flight to Katowice. Didn't wait for the departure, which was to Hannover.  It's been quite a long time since I last saw that black nose ring on a plane... New nose for Tuifly D-ABKN Robinson special livery.... It got delayed, from Frankfurt and ended up landing about 5 minutes after the end of a glorious afternoon golden light , to a runway already on the shadows....

Yesterday, got for the first time (also think it was its first time here with this livery) the Green Stripes Condor... Aka Sporting, Rio Ave, Vitória de Setúbal, or whatever footbal club you can remember with these colors...anyway, still more keen on the original name...barraca de praia (beach tent....)
