Planes and stuff

From a couple of weeks ago (on the same day of British Airways new special livery first visit...G-TTNA, check HERE ) a few shots on the departure of TAROM's retro plane, B737 YR-BGG. Eastern Europe's tourism has been growing, lately...Enter Air B737 MAX8 SP-EXA, departing on the back, from runway 05 to Warsaw... Meanwhile, there was a change of runway and TAROM, initially heading to 05, backtracked to runway 23...a lot more interesting for the take-off shots....

Today got, for the first time, at Madeira, a Skyteam livery. Not sure if it was the first time we got one of these here... TAROM B737 YR-BGF departing from runway 23 back to Bucarest (OTP/LROP)

Today we got, for the first time, TAROM B737 YR-BGG, with the retro "Happy 66 years" livery. Here, arriving from Bucarest, it really deserved a better meteo...unfortunatelly, not happy at all with the shots I made but it is said that is better to have a bad shot than no shot at all.... until a better oportunity, the bad shot will rule one...

With a cloudy look, the departure of the first TAROM B737 back to Bucharest, after a week stay at Madeira. YR-BGL

Last Saturday TAROM made its first flight with the B737 to Madeira, from Bucarest. Unfortunatelly it got delayed and arrived after the COVID curfew hour (which got extended the next day...)  Since then, has been parked at Madeira with departure back to Bucarest schedulled to May, 8th I guess that, unless I get their departure, this should be the best pic I take of its stay at Madeira, with stored A321 TAP's CS-TJH, CS-TXD and CS-TJQ First TAROM flight ever to Madeira was a Christmas/New Year charter, back to 2015/2016, with A310 YR-LCB. A primeira publicação e foto da semana de 2016 destaca a saída do A310 YR-LCB, da companhia romena TAROM e que foi um dos movimentos de destaque do ano transacto. Voo charter de final de ano, chegou à Madeira a 28 de Dezembro e partiu ontem, de regresso ao Aeroporto Internacional Henri Coandă, em Bucareste (OTP / LROP) Com cada vez menos A310 a voarem por cá (embora neste final de ano, um 310 da White ainda nos tenha visitado 2 vezes), adicionado ao facto de nunca ter visto TAROM por cá (estreia?) torna este movimento um sério candidato a ser um dos destaques deste ano, igualmente... Veremos o que o resto do ano nos reserva...Bom Ano a todos! taxiando para a 05 descolagem... uns fuminhos de fazer "inveja" ao Antonov 12 que cá esteve a semana passada... :)
