Planes and stuff

 Today made my first spotting of the year. On arrival, the weather was cloudy and quite dark but then, it started opening the blue sky and still managed some shots with some really nice light... Swiss A220 HB-JCT, from Geneve was the last plane of the day for me, with the very last sun rays just before goiing behind the mountains... Really love the A220 and it looks quite nice on the Swiss livery... Taxiing to the gate, by WizzAir A321 HA-LZJ getting ready for the return to KTW/EPKT - Katowice Airport

From the same night of Swiss A220 HB-JCB (check HERE ), a 2 in 1 catch... Unusual oportunity for some night shots on the daily cargo Swiftair ATR-72, as its usualy a morning operation, with arrival just before lunch... Don't really know why EC-MIY was still here (looks like it departed to Lisbon a few hours later) but it was quite a nice oportunity, even if it was still stoped at the stand... To add a little bit of color and movement, long-exposure of Swiss A220 HB-JCB departing to Geneva, from runway 05, in the back.

Finally made some shots I wanted to do for some time...Swiss A220/CS by night... With the winter time change and also the change on the schedulle of Tuesday's Swiss flight from morning to the afternoon, it was finally time to try some of these shots....  A220 HB-JCB pushing back for the return flight to GVA/LSGG Geneva... Finishing the push, with the cabin lights still on... And another shot just before the taxi...

Currently with 2 weekly flights, today was the first time I went for some morning shots of the Swiss A220 arriving from Geneve. Unfortunatelly, quite dark on the arrival...still managed some sunny shots while it was on the ramp, but couldn't manage to stay for the departure.... Love the C Series/A220 cockpit windows....with some nice reflections, it's easy to guess the handling company :)  HB-JCB

From last Saturday, the departure of Swiss CS300 / Airbus A220 HB-JCI, back to Genève, from runway 05

From a couple of weeks, a sequence of shots of the arrival of Swiss A220 HB-JCA, from Geneve... Last week, the flight was canceled...hope it doesn't turn into a definitive canceling of the route...

Today, finally we had the first flight with the A220 to Madeira.  After last year rumours of a Gevene flight from Swiss with this plane and then carried by Edelweiss with the usual A320, finally it came true... The weather wasn't the best for the welcoming but decided to go anyway...was waiting for this for a long time. Previously only had seen and photographed this model at Zurich and geting one at Madeira is always something special A220 HB-JCO (former CS300) Departure from runway 23 was short and steep... The arrival, also on runway 23 Push-back....
