 A sequence on the departure of Norwegian B737 SE-RPJ, from Madeira's runway 23, back to Oslo... With Air Vitosha Learjet 31 9H-THB refueling, after arriving from Malaga, for the next leg on its flight, to Marrakesh..

Yesterday was the first time I noticed these new tails on Norwegian planes. It's the usual themes but on a new graphic style. Really like it, it's more livery related and vivid SE-RXD, with Wenche Foss tail, arriving from Copenhagen. Never had heard of this Norwegian actress before but you can find some more info HERE

Never got the first Norwegian with the UNICEF livery (at least I think it was the first one...LN-NGE) but today noticed SE-RXA, with a new UNICEF livery (from July 2022, I believe...) and didn't want to miss the oportunity, again, for some shots, even if I wouldn't be able to get the arrival... On the departure back to Copenhagen...

Actually...it's my first Norwegian Air Shuttle since January 2020.... B738 SE-RRT arriving from Copenhagen...

A strange year, 2020 hadn't many moments worth highlighting, at Madeira Airport... Still, there were a few... On January got my last shots on a Norwegian Air Shuttle (and most probably the last ones ever...) (Check HERE ) On February, Great Dane made its first flight to Madeira, with the Embraer 195LR OY-GDA (check HERE ): Also on February another highlight from Denmark...Danish Air Force C-130 with United Nations titles. (Check HERE ) On March, Eurowings provided us a couple of nice catches... A320 D-ABDQ with the Europa Park livery (check HERE ) and D-ABDU, with the Hertz livery (check HERE ): This summer, the firefighting helicopter was a Wucher Helicopter one... Check HERE On October, Luxair brought us, for the first time, its special livery on LX-LGU (check HERE ) On December, a couple of highlights... TAP brought us, for the first time, its new retro livery plane, A321NEO CS-TJR. Check HERE The other (and one of the highlights of the year) was Wizz Air first flight to Madeira...

From las monday, a few shots of the arrival of Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 EI-BGI, from Copenhagen. This airline has one of my favourite liveries, from the ones that visit us (together with Edelweiss...)

From last Saturday, Vinci Airports Spotters Day 2019, a couple of shots of OE-GDF, an Austrian Embraer 505 Phenom 300, operated by Speedwings and its bigger brothers (at some time...) It's a nice looking bird :) At the time of this pic (changed a lot during the morning, no need to say...), had the company of TAP A319 CS-TTJ, Edelweiss A320 HB-IJU and Norwegian B738 EI-FJD

Yesterday gathered with a group of friends for some pics, talking and lunch. Great day! In the morning was going anyway to the airport, as the Norwegian from Copenhagen was bringing a special visitor :) Hope you had a great flight! Some pics of the arrival! Enjoy the stay! B738 EI-FHK touching down 05...unfortunatelly, white tail... taxiing to the apron through Bravo with some dark clouds behind...the sun wouldn't last much more...

From before Christmas, a sequence on the landing of Norwegian B738 LN-NHE on runway 23 with a white tail...a good oportunity to costumize it on photoshop... :P Maybe some other day...for now, the shots... Made some nice smoke on the landing...unfortunatelly...made some light pole spotting on that shot... :P

Norwegian has one of my favorite liveries so, could miss the oportunity for some shots on a diferent airport... Early in the morning, with a nice light, arriving at Porto Santo, from London. B738 EI-FVY, about to land on runway 36 The public balcony at Porto Santo is still a nice place to see the planes...let's hope they maintain it on the works that are beeing prepared for the airport terminal....

From last Saturday, while waiting for the arrival of a private Embraer 190, the take-off of Norwegian B738 LN-NIC, from runway 23, still with a nice sun.... Really like Norwegian livery but haven't taken them many pic's that made me wow...this one turned out really nice... You gotta love runway 23 use in the afternoon...

Another 1/25 panning... The departure of Norwegian B738 LN-NID, from runway 05. Was expecting to get the arrival of the other Norwegian of the afternoon but due to a flaps problem, it diverted to Porto Santo... Check AVHerald

Despite the Brussels Airlines first flight was one of the traffic of the year, I think that these Norwegian pics from a previous weekend are definitely far more interesting that the ones from Brussels Airlines. It's been quite a while since I last made any Norwegian pics that turned out really nice. Don't know about you but, I'm quite happy with these... B738 EI-FHN landing on 05 at late afternoon... Photo of the week: Side shot with the "cherry" :) Made a few beacon shots of this one (and only managed to ruin one :)  )  For the departure, the light was already running low, so a 1/30 panning... Also got a beacon on one of the shots but it was wasted blur...

Some of the guys seem to have a "finger" to get the beacons on...I hardly ever get them, even when I shoot a burst, the beacons seem to be allways between shots... :) Last saturday got luck enough to get some beacons (some of them were among panning shots...blurry panning shots....) but the couple of shots seem nice enough to share... Easyjet A320 G-EZUP lining up on runway 05 with some nice "cherrys" on top and bottom Norwegian B738 EI-FHN with a really strong flash of the beacons...

Once more, from December 5th 2015, a couple of shots of the arrival of Norwegian B738 LN-NOX, after landing on runway 23: Coming to a stop on runway 23 with a British Airways A320 taxiing on the back to the same runway, on taxiway Bravo Entering on the apron through taxiway Charlie with an Easyjet, a Transavia and a TAP giving some color to the late afternoon airport.
