 Luxair brought us today, for the first time, its new livery... B738 LX-LBB arriving from Luxembourg, on 05, with a sunny entry to final but to so much on short final...

It's been quite a while since I last got a Luxair... B737 MAX8 LX-LBK arriving from Luxembourg, on short final to runway 05

Finally managed to make some shots on Luxair's B738 LX-LGV, carrying the 60th Anniversary livery of the airline, celebrated last year.  With a rainy morning at Funchal, almost didn't go to the airport but, glad I did...a nice morning of sun, at Santa Cruz and runway 23 in use, which made it even better... Departing back to Luxembourg..more on the arrival, later...

Yesterday, got for the first time (also think it was its first time here with this livery) the Green Stripes Condor... Aka Sporting, Rio Ave, Vitória de Setúbal, or whatever footbal club you can remember with these colors...anyway, still more keen on the original name...barraca de praia (beach tent....) A321 D-AIAC, arriving from Frankfurt... A well composed apron.... You can check the Yellow Stripes HERE

 Usually make the long exposures shots during the night...today, with dark weather and no special traffic, played around a little bit with ND Filters and a tripod for some day long-exposures... Binter ATR-72 EC-LAD, with TAP A321NEO CS-TJJ passing, on the back... And, with Luxair's B737 LX-LGQ

 A few shots from today, of Transavia France B738 F-GZHI arriving from Porto (on a flight initiated at Paris - Orly)... With a sunny/cloudy day, the previous Luxair B738 had landed with cloudy weather but this one got some sun... Arriving at the stand with 3 of 4 stored TAP's (A321's CS-TJQ, CS-TXD, CS-TJH and  A320 CS-TMW, not visible), Luxair's B738 LX-LBA and TAROM B738 YR-LGB on a long stop after the first flight from Bucarest, on Saturday. Departure back to Porto, from runway 05...a long take-off run

From the same day of Tuifly CEWE livery (check HERE ), some shots of the other special livery of the morning. Arriving in from of the Tuifly, Luxair's B738 LX-LGU had to abort the first approach due to the lack of visibility (rain shower) Coming in for the second approach (on short final to runway 05) and the return to Luxembourg, taxiing from taxiway Charlie Lining up on runway 05

A strange year, 2020 hadn't many moments worth highlighting, at Madeira Airport... Still, there were a few... On January got my last shots on a Norwegian Air Shuttle (and most probably the last ones ever...) (Check HERE ) On February, Great Dane made its first flight to Madeira, with the Embraer 195LR OY-GDA (check HERE ): Also on February another highlight from Denmark...Danish Air Force C-130 with United Nations titles. (Check HERE ) On March, Eurowings provided us a couple of nice catches... A320 D-ABDQ with the Europa Park livery (check HERE ) and D-ABDU, with the Hertz livery (check HERE ): This summer, the firefighting helicopter was a Wucher Helicopter one... Check HERE On October, Luxair brought us, for the first time, its special livery on LX-LGU (check HERE ) On December, a couple of highlights... TAP brought us, for the first time, its new retro livery plane, A321NEO CS-TJR. Check HERE The other (and one of the highlights of the year) was Wizz Air first flight to Madeira...

Na manhã do passado Sábado, a Vinci Airports organizou a I Edição do Vinci Airports Spotters Day. Uma excelente iniciativa para os spotters, que decorreu em vários dos aeroportos geridos por esta empresa. O Aeroporto da Madeira foi um dos locais onde decorreu esta iniciativa, permitindo a entrada no lado ar de vários spotters mais habituados a ver, fotografar e filmar um pouco mais longe.. Como seria de esperar, foram muitos os cliques...por hoje fica apenas um cheirinho com uma amostra de alguns dos movimentos...depois logo vou colocado mais umas fotos/registos desse dia... Fazendo o gosto ao dedo com o A320 F-HBAO da Aigle Azur, partindo da 05. À direita, um spotter local bem conhecido pelos seus vídeos em FNC...Façam uma visita ao seu canal de Youtube, AQUI Taxi do A320 da TAP CS-TNX, com o comandante a fazer um thumbs up ao pessoal!
