From the same day that Ryanair began operations at Madeira (Check HERE ) a couple of shots of the departure of Edelweiss A320 HB-IJW, back to Zurich, pushing back under the rainbow (no gold on this side... :P )

Ryanair - Início da operação na Madeira
A Ryanair iniciou hoje a sua operação na Madeira, com 2 aparelhos baseados em FNC (inicialmente os B738 EI-EVM e EI-EVK) Além dos voos efetuados por estes aparelhos, a companhia efetuou igualmente mais alguns voos durante o dia de hoje, iniciando então as rotas de/para Lisboa, Porto, Nuremberga, Londres-Stanstead e Marselha. Ficam uns registos da chegada e saída do EI-GSH, que efetuou os voos de estreia da companhia de/para Lisboa. Acabou chegando um pouco antes do previsto, ainda sem sol na pista e com alguma chuva à mistura, que se manteve intermitentemente durante a manhã e que foi o único banho a que os estreantes tiveram direito.... Receção aos passageiros com uma pequena lembrança de produtos Madeira. Push-back para a 05, com o A320 HB-IJW a chegar de Zurique ao fundo... Um pormenor ao pequeno push-back da Ryanair.... Saída para Lisboa, após nova chuva e com o tempinho novamente escuro.... Ainda hoje, tivemos a estreia da Eurowings Discover mas, infelizmente já não deu para mim.....
Edelweiss at Op. Bird of Paradise
Yesterday, on an October tradition, a group of spotters from the mainland paid us a visit at Madeira for some spotting and gathering. Joined them during the morning for some shots and socializing, before heading to work. Was hoping to get the arrival of Edelweiss but didn't managed to do so... A few shots of the departure then... head to head with A320 HB-JIW Like I mentioned a few times...one of my favorite liveries... a friendly captain... departure to Zurich, with some of the Portugal Spotters making the shots...not an usual at Lisbon so, it was a nice bird for them to get...
Edelweiss with an early take-off
On a day with a couple of flights from Zurich, a few shots of the Edelweiss which holds one of my favorite liveries from those coming to Madeira... A320 HB-IJW landing on runway 05, from Zurich preparing the return flight taxi with another Swiss plane on the runway and for my surprise, quite an early take-off for this bird, heading to Zurich ...with Madeira green mountains in front and the blue sea on my back...
