Bizjets: Citation X and the CR7 little Gulfstream...

On a quick stop today, a couple of Bizjets at the far positions of the apron.
Cristiano Ronaldo's (CR7) Gulfstream G200 (he arrived yesterday for a couple of days at his home town of Funchal) and a beaultiful brazilian Cessna 750 Citation X

Despite this livery is nothing too special, these Citation X are definitely my favourite bizjets!
PP-JMJ, arrived today from Cascais and will depart tomorrow for Fortaleza

EC-KBC, Cristiano Ronaldo's Gulfstream G200 is really an ugly bizjet...
I know...it's a personal opinion...but...never managed to like this model...specialy lying next to a Citation X...

Photo of the Week: Night Gulfstream

It's been quite a while since I last made some night-shots, also, these kind of birds don't usually stay in front of the balcony so, took the oportunity
Too bad there wasn't any other traffic at the time, it would have been interesting to get some more lights on the back...
Gulfstream G550 N770MK
Arrived earlier yesterday, from ZAD/LDZA (Zagreb Airport)

A bit earlier, with another white balance setting? Which one do you prefer?

A detail on the engine...it had been rotating with the wind, that was a bit strong but at this time it had stopped, allowing me some detail on the blades...

The brazilian and the retro

TAP Air Portugal made one of its retro marketing flights to Madeira today.
More on that later...
For now, a shot of Brazilian private bizjet Gulstream G650 ER PR-GVI at the apron with TAP's retro A333 CS-TOV departing back to Lisbon...

Photo of the Week: Wind Rose Premier

The joys of football... :)
Last month we got at Madeira, for the first time, the Ukranian airline WindRose, on a charter flight with FC Dynamo Kyev, which came to play with local CS Marítimo for the UEFA Competitions.

After one season they had planned a charter operation that was canceled this was finaly a first :)

windy approach for the Ukranian A321

After leaving the team, the departure was made positioned
Taxiing to runway 05 with Portuguese Air Force Falcon 50 17402 that had brought the Portuguese President

The departure...a litle bit later than we expected with another bizjet on the back: N85JM, a Gulfstream G550

Wells Fargo flying coach

I guess the Wells Fargo is one of those names that makes the imagination of all the western fans out there to really take-off...
Well..in this case the reality, was a little more current, and it was landing.

The Wells Fargo Bank "coach" had wings and it was arriving from Caracas (CCS) for a technical stop, before proceding to Lisbon (LPPT/LIS)

On final to runway 05 (and...opposite to the old days...the only thing shotting at them was me, with me camera, and I was only trying to "steal" some pics... :P )

Privates (or kind of...)

This week we had, at Madeira, what is probably the traffic of the Year:

A B727 (XT-BFA) from the Burkina Faso Goverment, that brought the country's President in a personal business visit to our island.

Didn't manage to get the arrival so, a still shot just in case I don't get tomorow's departure....
Curiously, this plane belonged to TAP Air Portugal as CS-TBY, back in the 80's

Also on the apron there was this private bizjet, belonging to Europ-Star Ltd.
Maltese registrations aren't usual around here...
