Planes and stuff

TUI UK B752 G-OOBE ready for push-back Always a pleasure to see a B757...it's been a while since I last got a TUI Uk 757...looking at my files, this year still hadn't processed any TUI plane photo...don't really know if I didn't get any or got it but still are on the unprocessed folders...still, a nice catch anyway... Back to 2005, a pic I still hadn't processed... First Choice B752 G- OOBE taxiing to runay 05 with another gone in the back, a My Travel plane (became Thomas Cook Scandinavia)... A plane from 2003, despite working for the same guys all these years, knew quite a few names and liveries... Started on Air 2000 in 2003 which was renamed to First Choice Airways later that year. With the merging with Thomson, it became Thomson Airways, beeing renamed, last year, to TUI Airways.... :)

Monday mornings...not exactly as UK Blue as it used to be but still we can manage to fit a couple of TUI Uk planes in a frame... This was the same day of my first catch on Easyjet 's Berlin livery (check HERE ) B738 G-FDZD finishing the push-back while bigger brother B752 G-OOBE departs from runway 23 Curiously, G-OOBE was the plane used by TC&Starquest Expeditions back in 2011, including a stop at Madeira (check HERE )

Today we had the arrival of  TC & Starquest Expeditions / Thomson Airways B757, from AQJ (King Hussein  Intl Aiport , in Aqaba, Jordan). The plane wasn't looking that different but this kind of special flights is allways a nice catch. Was expecting just a small sticker with the TC Expeditions logo but after all, the Thomson titles were gone, replaced by the TC sticker and the tail was also different...nothing too exciting but, different... (glad it landed 05...if it landed 23 we would have get the right side of the plane which still remains with regular Thomson livery....
