Planes and stuff

Yesterday, on a quick  stop, made a few shots of Easyjet to Berlin and Transavia France, to Porto. The Transavia, B738 F-GZHC, made one of the shortest take-offs I had ever seen, from runway 23... I was on "Ferro" spot and it appeared out of the vegetation already on the air...checked it Google Earth and pretty sure it was a 500 to 600 meters take-off shooting up in the air quite fast...

Up and away...F-GZHC departing from runway 23, on an early take off....still Transavia is one of those airlines wich could be interesting to get some belly shots, specially with this kind of light...

On Saturday afternoons, Madeira has a few Easyjet flights. Here's a couple of them, from a couple of Saturdays ago... The sharklets look nice but I'd rather get one with the new livery... G-EZWI landing on runway 05  Gala Pirani (G-EZGD) on final to runway 05 Taxiing to the gate, with my first Transavia with new colors in the back (F-GZHC, check HERE ) On the double....

After many days watching the traffic to check if I would be lucky enough to get the Transavia new livery, I finally got it last Saturday, a day I wasn't even remembering them....nice that another spotter tiped me on this....Thanks for the heads-up! Anyway, after seeing it live, my first impressions remain...it's an awfull livery...but, anyway...got it... Transavia France F-GZHC landing on runway 05... Side pics, check! Now I must try to photograph it under the fuselage...it's the most colorful part of the plane... :) Taxiing back to runway 05, while passing by Easyjet's A320 G-EZWI, already with skarlets fitted.

Believe it or not...the first Luxair shot I publish this year... Monday afternoon used to be a little bit more interesting but, still you can have some nice catches like this bird...it's the only weekly flight from Luxair to Madeira (another is Finnair...but no luck with that one...maybe on vacations...it has a bad schedulle for working people... lol) Smoke on for Luxair's B738 LX-LGU with Sata's Q400 CS-TRD, Monarch's A321 G-ZBAI and Transavia France F-GZHC on the apron.

Some from the first Monday of August... Currently the traffic isn't that interesting on Monday afternoons but, still Monarch, Binter and Luxair are airliners that I haven't photographed much, lately... A few shots of the Monarch flights, from London Gatwick and Birmingham ... Monarch's A320 G-ZBAH landing on runway 05, with its "brother" A321 G-ZBAI ready to taxi for the return flight to London Gatwick. It was quite a while since I last went for some afternoon spotting. Didn't stay as long as I had planned but still it was enough to get some of the most importante afternoon landings... D-AICF, one of the 3 Condors of the day... (and still no retro colors around here....Come on Condor! Where's D-AICA?) It was only when I was processing the pics, in the computer , that I noticed that this Air Méditerranée was in fact an Hermes Airlines B735 A close-up on home colors for this Photo of the Week (CS-TTM a TAP A319) Time to get these ones before Condor get them out of the company D-ABOE just moments from of touching down on 05 with a nice wingflex F-GZHC, from Transavia France, arriving from Paris-Orly (via Porto) Allways nice to see a colorfull apron, despite the sun trying to leave.. On the apron yet another A320 that I didn't get on the landing: Air Berlin's (Belair) HB-IOW, wich had arrived from Zurich
