Well...long time since I last went for some shots at the airport so, time to check the archives...lots of unpublished pics to choose from...

From October 2019, a couple of shots of the departure of Edelweiss A320 HB-IJU, from runway 23, back to Zurich.
Allways nice to see runway 23 in use, specially with one of my favorite liveries...

From last Saturday, Vinci Airports Spotters Day 2019, a couple of shots of OE-GDF, an Austrian Embraer 505 Phenom 300, operated by Speedwings and its bigger brothers (at some time...)
It's a nice looking bird :)

From last Saturday, while hanging out with the guys from PXO, got, for the first time this Edelweiss A320 (HB-JJK).
Allways nice to get this one as it has definitely one of my favorite liveries.

Arriving from cold Zurich, some of the crew took some time to enjoy some of the Madeira sun :)
So, these ones are dedicated to Dominique and her crewmates!

Na manhã do passado Sábado, a Vinci Airports organizou a I Edição do Vinci Airports Spotters Day.
Uma excelente iniciativa para os spotters, que decorreu em vários dos aeroportos geridos por esta empresa.
O Aeroporto da Madeira foi um dos locais onde decorreu esta iniciativa, permitindo a entrada no lado ar de vários spotters mais habituados a ver, fotografar e filmar um pouco mais longe..

Como seria de esperar, foram muitos os cliques...por hoje fica apenas um cheirinho com uma amostra de alguns dos movimentos...depois logo vou colocado mais umas fotos/registos desse dia...

Yesterday, on an October tradition, a group of spotters from the mainland paid us a visit at Madeira for some spotting and gathering.

Joined them during the morning for some shots and socializing, before heading to work.
Was hoping to get the arrival of Edelweiss but didn't managed to do so...

This weekend seemed the right one to publish the first shot of Edelweiss I publish, from this year.

From the same day of Transavia's Sunweb special livery (check HERE), and with a nice morning light, it's definitely one of my favorite shots of this airline, which by the way has one of my favorite liveries from those around here...

With the begining of Binter flights between Madeira and Porto Santo we now have a little ATR corner at Madeira airport... :)

New livery for the Edelweiss...although it's not easily noticeable... :)

From the same day of the Corendon (check HERE), a couple of shots of Edelweiss HB-IJV, arriving from Zurich...the first one I publish this year on the Swiss airline...

In my opinion, one of the best looking liveries coming to Madeira is of Edelweiss.
Unfortunatelly, the times and days of its flights aren't the best... (at least for me...)
 The F/O couldn't wait getting to Madeira ground.... :)
