Planes and stuff

From the begining of the month, a few shots of the departure of Privilege B752 EC-HDS, in one of its Reveillon charters... This day, went for just 3 or 4 planes and missed the right take off on both the departures... went for a spot and the Sata took off too late...moved for another spot and this Privilege took off too early...oh well.... Push back to runway 23 and up and away....

Back to publishing after a while away from the computer.. Easyjet A320 OE-IJK after arriving from Porto, on runway 23, with Privilege B752 EC-HDS and Corendon B738 9H-TJB on the stands

Back to the Madeira Airport pics... First time I got an Easyjet A321NEOMA  with the new special titles... Arriving from London Gatwick yesterday afternoon. G-UZMA about to land on runway 05 With Tuifly Robinson special livery (B738 D-ABKN) holding shot off runway 05 Taxiing to the gate with some heat waves but still noticeable M-RFAP, a Dassult Falcon 7X and Privilege B752 EC-HDS, that brough F.C.Porto to play with C.S.Marítimo for the Portuguese Premiere League.

Este fim de semana tivemos um pouco habitual B757 da Privilege, em voo charter para o F.C. Porto, que jogou com o local C.D.Nacional para a Primeira Liga Apesar de pouco habitual, volta e meia este aparelho aparece por cá, embora tenha sido a primeira vez que o apanhei com títulos alusivos a este clube... Já agora, para lembrança futura, ainda que ligue pouco (ou nada...) a futebol, o FCP ganhou o Nacional por 0-1, o que não é muito mau, tendo em conta os 2 resultados anterior dos alvi-negros....

Today we had a charter flight from Madrid, by Privilege. It's not an usual airline around here, still, didn't go for the arrival...not really fond on their livery and already caught it a few times at Porto Santo... Planning on going to the airport during the afternoon, so I will probably be taking some pics of it on the apron... Anyway, last time I caught a Privilege was in Porto Santo, during the Summer. They were making weekly charter flights from Porto and Lisbon, to that island. That day, I had the unexpected oportunity for a special visit and spotting place... :)) (Thanks Pedro!) Joint spotting with a local spotter, early in the morning, EC-HDS on the first flight of the day. On the left, Sata's CS-TRC. Spotting from a diferent location,,,  Taxiing to runway 36 Take-off rotation....the tail didn't seem too far from a tailstrike....

Decided for this one for this Photo of the Week . It's not every I get the oportunity to shot some photos from a control Tower. I guess that if I had the oportunity to take some shots to a taxiing plane on an helicopter hovering by its side, the result would be something like this...

Today (yesterday...Friday), Made finally some spotting since I arrived to Porto Santo and it was really some nice couple of hours, which included a visit to Porto Santo Tower, together with Paulo Brito. Thanks a lot, Pedro! The traffic wasn't much, a couple of trips from the Q200 from Sata and one flight from Privilege which wasn't far from a tail strike on the take-off.... Photos on this, soon.... Let's hope that tomorow the weather is better for the beach and all the fires at Madeira can be controlled...
