Planes and stuff

 Usually not my kind of favourite photos but for a change on the pace, Photo of the Week for a plane with sky background.... Tuifly B738 D-ATUJ on final to 23, from Munich, with the beacons...

 Looks like Tuifly will stop flying to Madeira, as from next week.... So, if I'm not mistaken, today's B738 D-ATUJ from Dusseldorf was the last Tuifly for who knows how long.... About to land on runway 05, with the sun already gone...

Today we got a couple of special liveries, in the afternoon that I still haven't got, one of them for the first time here... Unfortunatelly, no oportunity for getting those...let's hope for better luck next time... For now, the arrival of Tuifly's D-ATUJ, with the TropiFrutti livery...arriving from Cologne... short final to runway 05 pushing back, for the departure back to Cologne

Still one of the most amazing liveries we get here at Madeira, Tuifly's Haribo Tropifrutti D-ATUJ is allways a nice catch. From last December... arriving on runway 23 Some pics, after all, Madeira is allways worth to remember ;)  The departure, also from runway 23

You got to love that! :) A few pics of the arrival and departure of D-ATUJ, with the beautifull Haribo Tropifrutty livery. Tuifly is one of those airlines local spotters can trust it will bring its special liveries to Madeira, oposite to others... Last week, there it was, on its way from Basel, Switzerland, the newest Tuifly special livery, the amazing Haribo Tropifrutti (D-ATUJ) A big thumbs up to Tuifly ;) Definitly worth Photo of the Week title, if not for the quality of the pic, certainly for the livery of the plane... Landing on runway 05...let's hope Haribo/Tuifly partnership lasts for many years...it's been providing some great liveries entering the stand...unfortunately, couldn't wait for the departure...

No dia do Titan Airways (ver AQUI ), a visita ao aeroporto foi "de médico"...fazendo apenas mais um par de fotos aos outros 2 B738 que por lá se encontravam, antes de regressar ao Funchal para umas fotos aos navios de cruzeiro que estavam nesse dia na capital Madeirense (Prinsendam e AIDAstella, ver AQUI ) OK-TSD da Travel Service , que já se encontrava por cá há alguns dias, ao contrário do que é habitual com esta companhia D-ATUJ da Tuifly , que se preparava para regressar à Alemanha, já com as winglets Scimitar
