A320 D-AICA and a bunch of other Condor....

Thursdays are Condor strong day, at Madeira.
Today we got D-AICH, Condor's new plane with the retro livery...unfortunatelly, couldn't go to the airport so, a pic from last month, also from a Thursday with D-AICA, the plane that was previously carrying the retro livery and a few more of its airline buddies :)

That Transavia must be feeling lonely :)

Looks like D-AICA, Condor's A320 carrying the retro livery was ferried this month back to the paint shop for a return to regular livery...

Condor Loves Sentido

Yesterday, on a quick stop, managed to catch some new stuff :)
One of the newbies (for me...) was this Condor A321 with special titles regarding the Sentido Hotels & Resorts.
Was at Santa Cruz when I noticed this one on final to runway 05, no way I could manage to get the arrival but was nice to make a record on the departure....

It's easy to notice Thursdays are Condor day at Madeira, currently (with 8 flights...)

Still, a nice record with 3 different liveries for Condor...A321 D-ATCD, with Sentido titles, A320 LY-VEF, leased to Avion Express and a different tone on the tail grey and A320 retro D-AICA

After the Lufthansa retro, back to my pics and to another retro...this time Condor's A320 D-AICA, departing to Germany, back in Oct.20th from runway 23

Hoje tivemos por cá o retro da Condor (D-AICA) mas, como não tive oportunidade de ir até ao aeroporto, fica uma de Novembro do ano passado que ainda não tinha publicado, com o referido retro descolando da 23 enquanto na placa um A321 da TAP (CS-TJG) prepara-se para taxiar para a pista contrária...(05)

Condor's A320, D-AICA is the only plane coming to Madeira on a somehow regular basis with a retro livery, so it's allways a nice catch.

With runway 23 in use at FNC/LPMA, a good background is allways assured either for the mountains (in the morning) or to the airport/sea (in the afternoon)

Looks like Thomas Cook/Condor is going for some kind of rebranding...

Anyway, this post is about old colors...retro colors.

It's allways nice to get one of these (too bad TAP still didn't realise the marketing potential of it...)

Last week got Condor's D-AICA and after some playing with one of the pics, decided it was good enough for this week's highlight...

Condor's retro: D-AICA

Finally, after months of long wait we managed to get Condor's A320 with the retro livery (the livery that they used back in the sixties...)

After Tuifly newest special livery a couple of days before, it was Condor time to get the "crowds" back to the LPMA/FNC main spotting places...

(even the youngest spotter managed to get a nice pic of D-AICA.... hehe)
