Planes and stuff

The posting on some FB aviation groups reminded me of sharing these pics on the A310 at Madeira. It doesn't show every A310 I've caught but as far as I can remember it does represent each livery I managed to get around here ... (got a few regs from TAP and Sata...) CS-TEI, with TAP old colors and one of my favorite shots ever 4th, Sep. 2004 Now on duty with Portuguese Hifly CS-TEX, the first A310 with TAP new colors at Madeira Feb.16th 2005 It was quite an early wake... F-GEMO, from Eagle Aviation. Got it a couple of times. It went on duty with Ariana Afghan Airlines and scrapped in June 2006... D-AHLZ, with old Hapag-Lloyd colors The same D-AHLZ, already using the colors of its next (and last) user, Siberian S7. It was quite a surprise to get this fantastic livery around here D-AIDD on Apr.19th 2005 and a very nice double catch.... This nice A310 (T.22-1), from Ejercito del Aire (Spanish Air Force) was also at Madeira, back in 2009, suppor...

The way I caught the Golden Haribo, last week, reminded me of this one . Like I mentioned of that entry, back then, we had little more info than the arrivals and departures page, from Madeira Airports and usually went to the airport blind and happy with whatever it came. I remember that I was about to leave but then, I saw another one coming and decided to wait. Back on the distance, it seemed big...A310. Great! Usually 310's back then were from Hapag-Lloyd and this one seemed like the regular blue but after a few moments it didn't seem blue...what was that? When it came close enough to see the colors and fuselage details, I went crazy! What a fantastic livery! Back then, never had heard of S7 (Siberian Airlines)...didn't even knew if it was some publicity, new airline or whatever... Anyway the livery was just amazing! D-AHLZ, Hapag-Lloyd's A310 already with the colors of the new owner. Check info on Airfleets Back then, traffic seemed a lot more interesting...

Yesterday was Tuifly day. Still wasn't the day to get the Golden Haribo but it wasn't that bad. On a couple of quick stops at the airport, manage to get the landing of the Tuifly / Hapag-Lloyd D-AHLK and the Blue Haribo push-back for departure.... It's been a long time since I last caught these two, specially the one with the Hapag-Lloyd titles... The one with the Hapag-Lloyd titles, despite the livery almost identical to the old one, it has a few diferences, anyway, it still brings some nice memories....

One of the guys told me that the D-AHFB was coming today in the afternoon. Unfortunatelly couldn't go but that wasn't too critic, as I already had photographed it once ... Anyway, that got me thinking about Tuifly old times, back to the times of Hapag-Lloyd and I remembered to share one of the pearls of my colection (in personal terms), regarding this airline... This was a livery I grew up with and the top of the cherry: a A310 , which back then was quite rare, specially in these colors.... Some other Hapag-Lloyd A310 came, from time to time but usually already wearing the "boring blue" livery...
