Tuifly special liveries

Imagem
Like I mentioned last week, finally caught the DB Regio. Despite the regular Tuifly livery beeing nothing too thrilling (although the yellow livery looks a lot better than the blue one...) still, Tuifly has been the airline that comes to Madeira with the most special liveries and great ones! So, a small selection of these liveries, that I've caught, during times... D-ATUF 's Hapag Lloyd Kreuzfahrt looks a lot like the old Hapag Lloyd livery (but it's a pretty sight indeed...) D-ATUD, the Goldbaren Haribo was also one that I was after for quite a while before getting it... Fantástic livery! D-AHFZ, a nice livery but not too outstanding...never managed to get it in sunny days... The day's I photographed it, the only sun was the one on the tail... D-AHFM, the Blue Haribo looks really nice but the Golden one beats it, no doubt.... D-ATUE the DB1 Regio, really great livery (but the 2, red, looks a lot more colorful...) Only caught it in rainy day...

Jet2 Holidays special livery

This one was an hard catch... Was after it a long time...really love its livery. Used to be on service with Tuifly , with D-AHFB registration (with the great Sharan special livery....) It surprised us monday at lunch time but, due to strong winds ended up diverting to Porto Santo (check pics here ) The B737 G-GDFD ready for push-back Pushing back to 05, with OK-TVR from Travel Service on the next stand (had also arrived from Porto Santo, after beeing diverted to that island on the previous day) CS-DCH , the TB-10 from local Aeroclube making a windy take-off for a flight to Funchal (check more pics HERE ) Unfortunatelly, opposite to the previous 3 planes, the Jet2 made quite a long take-off so, the pics didn't turned out  as I wanted (specially with all that fog....)

Rejections @ Airliners.net

Yesterday got a few more shots rejected at Airliners.net. They're getting more and more picky everyday and if the SBA was nothing really special, regarding quality, in my opinion, the Luxair's and the Sharan's were really nice ones... Lately I've been sending less and less pics to Airliners, and I guess it's time to stop sending them at all, they sure won't miss my pics and I won't wast my time on them... Have a few more on queue, if they're acepted, it's ok, if they're rejected, who cares.... Will keep uploading to Jetphotos and obviously the main point of upload is now this blog. Hope you enjoy the pics and keep following the blog.

New Photo of the Week - A Tuifly special

Imagem
Since Tuifly restarted flying to Madeira, the hunt began for the companies new special liveries. On the week before Easter they brought a couple of them in the same day, unortunately was no good for me, as I couldn't go. The most usual one around here has been the blue Haribo , which I had already photographed last year, but finally, last week, they brought a new one (for me at least...some of the other guys had already got it). It was the one advertising a German car....(Hey...not saying the name, unlesse they pay me good bucks!! ) ;-P Got a couple more pics of it but I guess the light poles were feeling photogenic that day.... More on that later....

Week off

Today we ended up having a couple of Tuifly special liveries for the first time (the Golden Haribo and the VW Sharan....) Too bad for me, couldn't get it... You can check some photos on Jorge Abreu's website: http://www.jorgeabreu.net/photo/ Anyway, time for a week off. There's lots of delayed updates on some really nice traffic, let's see if I'll get things running soon. See you in a week or so....
