Planes and stuff

On a quick stop today, a couple of Bizjets at the far positions of the apron. Cristiano Ronaldo's (CR7) Gulfstream G200 (he arrived yesterday for a couple of days at his home town of Funchal) and a beaultiful brazilian Cessna 750 Citation X Despite this livery is nothing too special, these Citation X are definitely my favourite bizjets! PP-JMJ, arrived today from Cascais and will depart tomorrow for Fortaleza EC-KBC, Cristiano Ronaldo's Gulfstream G200 is really an ugly bizjet... I know...it's a personal opinion...but...never managed to like this model...specialy lying next to a Citation X... 

Finally we got at Madeira, after some years of wait, Autrian's plane with the retro livery: OE-LBP Not the best time of the day nor the best weather but, it's checked. Now lets hope I'll managed to get it a few times more some some better pics... landing on runway 05, arriving from Vienna Right before the the Austrian, there was another first for me... Small Planet It's been coming for a couple of weeks but, it was my first pics of it.... SP-HAD  And right after, another moment you don't get everyday... A US Cessna 750 Citation X (unsual around here), from Avangard Aviation was quite in a hurry to depart... The passenger bus wasn't still there and it was already receiving the taxi clearance... After a quite fast taxi (for a stop at holding point...as Austrian was landing), it entered runway 05 and got its nose into departure direction for take off... Unfortunatelly, for the pilots, the ATC didn't authorized that and made h...

Last Wednesday (June, 30th) made a very quick stop behind the airport. The apron offered me a rare sight: There was 4 bizjets. The usual local CS-DPA, Netjet's CS-DRK, another bizjet that I didn't get close enough to identify (but it seemed to me like a Falcon, from Heliavia) and the best: A Cessna 750 Citation X!!! That's my favorite bizjet (of course, I'm talking about the beauty of its design). It's just beautifull!! With low light, didn't even bother to photograph the others but that one I had to... The only other time I managed to photograph a Citation X was on April, 20th 2008: Curiously they were both brazilian registrations... Still hoping to photograph one of these birds on landing/take-off, some day...
