Planes and stuff

Last sunday we had the first flight of Smartwings (CSA livery) A220 at Madeira. On a flight from Prague, and with quite a crappy weather at the airport, OK-EYB made the first flight to Madeira (from Prague or, by the way, from anywhere else, as Smartwings, CSA colors or...any of these. with the A220) With that kind of weather not much interest in getting the arrival so, a couple of shots on the taxi for the departure back to Prague:

CSA, Czech Airlines makes its last flight today, after 101 years of operation. OK767 flight, carried by A320 OK-IOO that held the 100 years speciall livery last year, will be the airline's last flight, from Paris - CDG to Prague - PRG, later today, before fully merging with Smartwings. Looks like CSA colors will still be carried by at least 2 airplanes in the future. You can check all the CSA pic's I got, HERE . Curiously, got OK-IOO last year, in June, performing a flight to Prague:

  Looks like CSA - Czech Airlines filles for bankruptcy.. (ver AQUI , em PT)... There is still hope on the restructuring but, usually we all know how it ends.... Anyway, shot of the week for the premiere of CSA at Madeira, back in 2005, with A321 OK-CEC...the best of luck for the airline and specially for all its employees.... Was pretty sure I had already shared the shots of its premiere at Madeira on the blog but...looks like I hadn't...
