Planes and stuff

A foto da semana, idealmente, iria para a estreia da pintura retro da TAROM, na manhã de Sábado, vindo de Bucareste...infelizmente, com uma meteo mais virada ao inverno, o melhor que consegui fazer foi ISTO ...algo que claramente não me enche as medidas...fica o registo... Entretanto, ao final da tarde, passei novamente pelo aeroporto, para uma pequena entrevista para um programa de Verão da TV local, a RTP-Madeira e estava uma fantástica luz de final de tarde... Fica este registo do A319 CS-TTS a taxiar para a 05, de regresso a Lisboa, já que, não sendo ao estilo das minhas fotos preferidas (de ação, com aterragem ou descolagem), ilustra bem um daqueles pormenores que referi...o beacon on e ainda por cima perfeitamente visível, refletido no asfalto da pista, que, com a luminosidade que havia, é algo não muito habitual....

TAP A319 CS-TTS Para hoje, apateceu-me partilhar este registo algo diferente do meu estilo habitual..menos focado no avião e mais no aspecto visual, obtido com uma lente fish-eye 8mm.... Pessoalmente até gosto mas....

Hoje tive oportunidade de efectuar alguns registos aos últimos voos de um Comandante da TAP que se irá reformar. É sempre uma ocasião fantástica ver fechar com "chave de ouro" uma longa carreira na aviação! Parabéns e felicidades! Ficam alguns dos registos obtidos à chegada e saída do A319 CS-TTS... Finally a "new" special livery from Easyjet around here. Now based at Lisbon, Easyjet's A319 G-EZBG carrying the Hamburg livery has been coming to Madeira for the  last days. Today was the day I got it, for the first time. With a sunny day at Funchal, the weather at Santa Cruz (airport) was dark, dull and cold...so much for those that usually talk about "Funchal Airport".... taxiing to the gate, after arriving from Lisbon, on runway 05 The push-back to Lisbon, with TAP's A319 CS-TTS departing to Lisbon from 05  regular shots had been taken so, tried a 1/30 panning for the departure :)

Poderá parecer estranho que, num dia em que as companhias alemãs Germania e Tuifly nos brindaram com a presença de duas pinturas especiais fantásticas e de que disponho poucos registos (especialmente o Germania D-AGER, com a pintura dos 30 Anos), me tenha deslocado ao aeroporto principalmente por causa de um TAP mas, há momentos que valem bem a pena registar... ;) Por agora ficam uns registos do TAP (A321, CS-TJG de Lisboa...curiosamente foi neste aparelho que tive oportunidade de efectuar duas aterragens no cockpit...em Lisboa e uma nocturna, na Madeira), os especiais ficam para mais tarde... Back to 2008 (August, 18th) a pic that I still hadn't published in the blog: Which's the only airline in the pic that's still operating? ;) First Choice A320 G-OOPX (now operating for SmartWings as OK-HCB) departing from 05 with a Lauda Air holding short off runway 05. In the back XL (UK) and TAP are in the apron....and I guess no doubts on which is the airline still operating... :)

O voo de carga diário de/para Lisboa foi hoje efectuado por algo bem diferente: o Bluebird Cargo! Foi uma surpresa completa quando me apercebi que era esta beleza que vinha a fazer o voo de carga (nem sei se foi o primeiro dia...mas, suponho que sim...ou pelo menos nenhum dos spotters habituais se tinha apercebido dele ainda...) Apesar de ter assim um arzito de lata de Pepsi-Cola, é de longe bem mais interessante que a "branca de neve sul-africana" utilizado habitualmente pela Agroar... Tendo em conta que podia ser um voo único, tratei de conjugar as coisas e unir o útil ao agradável e fui apanhar a saída do voo para Lisboa. TF-BBE em rotação na 05  Nem tinha ligado o rádio, enquanto esperava pela descolagem do Bluebird e estava completamente distraído, quando me apercebi desta outra beleza na final curta para a 05.... mal tive tempo de ligar a máquina e dar 2 ou 3 disparos... Não é todos os dias que temos Embraer's por cá... OK-GGG (ERJ-135BJ Legacy ...

A few days ago was complaining that most of my inflight shots were quite crappy, for several reasons, dirt, the photographer (...), etc... This week, on the return flight to Madeira, got a really nice seat for some shots and this time managed to get some pics that aren't any work of art but didn't turned out that bad... The plane was CS-TTS, a A319 from TAP. The flight: OPO-FNC after take-off, the view was really nice with also those fields colored by different tones... After a regular flight...passing behind Porto Santo... After passing Rosário, the winds, oposite to previous day, were calm... This was the right side of the plane for the landscaps but the wrong side for the sunlight... down, on the left the Aquapark Passing by the City of Santa Cruz, on final. Pointing out, Vila Galé Hotel. In front of it a small platform were I took a few days ago some ND filter shots. Check them HERE Landed....spoilers up and passing by the wild life controller ...

Just a few hours before the sky falling over Madeira, around mid-night the night was very nice, a little bit cold but nice, just perfect for getting the Smarlynx with full livery....or so we thought... Despite last pics of this plane beeing with full Smartlynx livery, after arrival we saw that after all, the livery was already gone....it was now another flying fridge...who would have guessed they had changed after last pics.... Fortunatelly the parking changed to a more photogenic place.... (Thanks Alex!) Arriving... TAP's CS-TTS was also preparing to push-back.... Had my wife and daughter in the car, which was parked in a unload/load area of the departures, so hurried out of there after and didn't even noticed the ATP from Sata without the rudder.... Yesterday (21.Apr.2009) afternoon went to the airport for some spotting and it was one of those days really worth it. With 3 Tuifly's (Hapag-Lloyds) coming in the afternoon, there was a good chance of getting something really interesting. Before leaving to the airport, already knew that 2 of them were bluey's (boring regular Tui blue livery used by almost all the airlines connected with the TUI group). The 3rd one, in the other hand was something worth the trip: D-AHLK, the only Tuifly special liverie that I hadn't caught yet. Also, when I was on my way to the airport, Jorge Abreu called me, saying that there was a big nose Aviocar parked in the apron...A 300?? Well, definitely worth the trip: I had never had caught a C212-300, here at Madeira. After all it ended being a catch on the double for Aviocars as a while after I arrived, Medic36 (the callsign for Medical Evacuations made from the PoAF C212-100 from Porto Santo) arrived from PXO. This last one is quite an histo...
