A330 de regresso

Amanhã, a TAP deverá efetuar 2 voos extra com o A330. em virtude das condições meteorológicas que afetaram hoje a operação no Aeroporto da Madeira (vento...)
Se não houver alterações, esses voos deverão ser efetuados pelo CS-TOE que, curiosamente foi o primeiro A330 da TAP a vir à Madeira, aquando da substituição dos A310 pelos 330 nos voos de Caracas.

Actualmente já só recebemos, por norma, voos TAP em A330 para reposição de voos cancelados por meteo...

It's a no go....

Looks like the TAP Portugal privatization went to a rejected take-off as the Portuguese Goverment, decided not to sell the airline to the only contestant, the Synergy Group, held by German Efromovich...

Let's wait for further developments in the matter...

New Photo of the Week - Though the window

Usually I can't manage to get any decent shots trough the windows...it's either dirty, or the glass distortion, or just simply fault...

Anyway, this was one didn't turn out that bad and it's a good one for this week's photo....

New Photo of the Week - By the bridge

These last days got a few traffic (still unpublished) that got me thinking about the choice of this week's photo...
The nominees are: Icejet's Do.328, the first night shots (taken by me) of Sata's newest A320 and TAP's A330 from runway's 23 treshold bridge (a place I rarely go)...

and the Winner is: Avatar!....ooops...yes...right, was talking about planes...
Anyway, decided on the A330 shots for one reason:
After talking with A.L. for quite a long time about making some spotting together, yesterday was the day.

We practically spotted just the A330 and not much more but, it's a start...

Weather at Funchal and the Expressway was awfull, with lots of fog (it was fog even at my place....which is very, very rare as it is not much higher than sea level.)
Curiously, at the airport, the weather was rather nice, with good visibility and no rain.

As we missed the landing, decided to go to the place where we could be the nearest to the plane without being on the runway...the expressway bridge at runway 23 treshold and specially with a plane like the A330, it looks like you can even thouch the wings...

And off it went, to Caracas...
