Uma noturna do TAP A320 CS-TNJ a chegar de Lisboa, para pernoita, tirada enquanto aguardava pela saída do Falcon 7X da Força Aérea Nigeriana ( AQUI )

Um par de registos da chegada do A320 CS-TNJ, pela 23, em Feveiro. A descolagem posterior deste avião, no regresso a Lisboa também umas fotos engraçadas... AQUI

While waiting for the departure of TAP CS-TNJ (check HERE ), still got the arrival of Jet2 B738 G-DRTT, while coming to a stop and exiting the runway. A nice catch as it has been quite a while since I last got a Jet2 and rarely with this kind of light... And...curiously...DRTT is the Regional governamental branch that is responsabile for transportation (the land one....) :)  

Já tem uns tempos valentes que não passava uma boa parte da tarde no aeroporto mas, com o solzinho que estava e movimento quase constante, valeu bem a pena, já que estava pela zona... Por vezes há aquela tendencia de menosprezar os TAP's, porque são habituais ou porque já temos o registo....neste sábado decidi registar tanto a chegada como a saída do A320 CS-TNJ, até porque há uns tempos que não apanhava um TAP e além disso, com sol e 23 em uso, é de aproveitar tudo.... As da descolagem, acabaram por surpreender, já com a última luz do sol quase a desaparecer atrás das montanhas, o avião acabou descolando bem mais cedo que esperava, com o Cmdt. a começar a meter a asa bem antes do esperado também...bela descolagem!

Yesterday we had, for the first time in long time, an Antonov 26 cargo plane. (The only other time I can remember we had one of these around here was back in 2005, check HERE ) Schedulled to 20:00h (8 p.m.) it got delayed about 30 minutes, making us loose the good light... And then, like if it wasn't enough late, it misunderstood the ATC indications and instead of making a straight in entry to the runway 05 circuit it went to the VOR, delaying even more and delaying also a couple of other planes on aproach to the VOR... Anyway, with very litle light, I had to rise the ISO to 400 (800 would be too grainy in my camera) and make a  panning of 1/64... Last Monday (29th, June) was one of those great afternoons of spotting. In less than one hour and a half, there was some real nice traffic, great light and the least usual runway in use (23). It was one of those days I was really happy with the results and considered it a well worth trip to the airport. The pics could be probably better (they allways can) but still took some of the best pics I've taken lately (in my opinion, of course) Runway 23, in the afternoon provides the light from the right direction and some great backrgound in landings and take-offs. My daughter wasn't beeing very "cooperative" in the landings, so ended up staying in a place not so good, with a lot of photos out of focus or with light poles and other stuff in front of the planes... Anyway, for the take-offs I went to usual place, behind the airport, which provides some nice backgrounds in runway 23 take-offs. Couldn't manage any good pic of the landing of this Travel Service with Oman colo...
