Planes and stuff

 Uns registos de ontem, ao final da tarde, com os últimos raios de sol, relativos à chegada do YL-BGS, o 737-300 da Klasjet, que transportou o Sporting desde Beja, até à Madeira, para o jogo da I Liga Portuguesa de Futebol, com o C.D.Nacional, hoje. Com os spotters na expectativa sobre um eventual atraso, que faria com que o aparelho chegasse já depois do sol desaparecer atrás das montanhas de Gaula, desta vez tivemos sorte e acabou chegando com os últimos raios de sol... Chegada ao stand, com o também recém-chegado Ryanair EI-ILD, um Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 Curiosamente, 2 B737 que representam anos de distancia em termos de tecnologia mas também em termos de conceito de transporte aéreo... Curiosamente, no momento em que publico isto (intervalo do jogo CD Nacional - Sporting), o Nacional ganha por 1-0....a ver como envelhece este resultado, na segunda parte :)

The last time I saw British Airways around here was when GB was sold to Easyjet... GB was the British Airways representation at Madeira and with that sell no more those colors were seen around. It seemed like it would stay like that for many more years but after all, the BA blue and red colors came earlier than expected and being weared by a quite unexpected plane... With a Danish registration, operated by Sun Air of Scandinavia and bringing the Swedish soccer team   BK Hacken with an overall coat of the BA colors,  it's definitely what I call a Nordic Brithish Airways... The Dornier 328 (Do.328)  is not a usual plane here at all. We probably get one or (in a good year) two of those around here and usually Air Ambulances from ADAC, so you can understand all the rush around this traffic...  The Swedish team is coming to Madeira to play the first hand of an European Football (Soccer) competition with regional club C.D.Nacional over runway 05 treshold ...
