A few shots of Ukrainian Airlines at Madeira (at least from the ones I got....there may have been a few more around here...) UM Air (Ukraine Mediterranean Airlines) A320 UR-UFB, on 03.Oct.2005 Ukraine International Airlines B738 UR-PSD, on 09.Aug.2011 Ukraine Air Alliance An-12 UR-CGV, with a nose to a Tuifly B738, 13.Sep.2017 Windrose A321 UR-WRI with Dynamo Kyiv , on 15.Aug.2017 Another An-12, from Ukraine Air Alliance...UR-CAK, on 11.May.2019 Skyup B738 UR-SQH..a route that got interrupted by Russian invasion of Ukraine....Fuck you "Putain"!

 Noticed a few days ago that, apart from 1 ou 2 shots, had never published the shots of this rare visitor: Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov 12 UR-CAK, back in 2019... So a few shots of the many taken this day.... You got'to love these old birds....

Yesterday, UR-CAH, an Ukraine Air Alliance An-12 crashed at Ukraine as it was getting ready to land (check more info HERE ) It was a two year younger "brother" of UR-CAK, that visited us back in May, flying for the same company and carrying the same colors... RIP for the crew

A couple of days ago, Tuifly's B738 D-ATUH (special livery Mein CEWE) suffered a bird strike on landing which damaged the nose. The replacement part had to be brought from Hannover by an An-12, which is allways a great (and rare) sight... Inicially schedulled to arrive in the middle of the night, ended up arriving a little bit  before sunrise which allowed me to make a quick run for some shots before heading to work. An-12 UR-CGV just after arriving...(long exposure shot...tried some high ISO shots of the landing but it was too dark) Tuifly's D-ATUH on a night-stop with the damaged nose. Unfortunately couldn't stay for the nose change...

Hoje tivemos um forte candidato a movimento do ano, mercê da contínua falta do tão prometido voo diário de carga da FlyMii e da greve dos estivadores, no continente...um cargueiro ucraniano Antonov 12BK da Ukraine Air Alliance (UR-CGV). Infelizmente, de atraso em atraso, acabou por chegar a uma hora impossível para mim e só a muito custo consegui apanhar a saída, embora em contra-luz...paciência... descolagem da 05 ligando motores Smoke on!!  cof...cof..... início da descolagem, que acabou por ser bastante longa.... e por fim, um toque diferente à foto da semana, sugerido pelo Carlos Seabra  e que até gostei bastante (além de sempre ajudar a disfarçar a contra-luz...)
