Planes and stuff

Têm sido poucas as fotos que tenho feito ao pequno Tecnam P2002 do Aeroclube da Madeira. Ficam alguns registos da chegada desse aparelho, no dia em que fiz as primeiras fotos ao retro da Transavia ( AQUI ), tendo ficado parqueado num stand pouco habitual... EC-MQY a chegar ao stand... Umas espreitadelas para o motor.... e a chegada do voo diário de carga, de Lisboa, com o EC-LYJ, um registo que ainda não tinha fotografado... Curiosamente 2 registos espanhóis e uma prova de que o tamanho é relativo...o ATR parece enorme, perto do Tecnam :) 

 Air Dolomiti Embraer 190LR I-ADJP arriving at Venice. Air Dolomiti has one of those really simple but nice liveries (personal opinion...) that fits really well on the Embraer. Curiously, the first time I made some photos on one of its planes, was also in Venice, back in 2005: I-ADLN, an ATR-72 that is now scrapped, after beeing transfered to Asian Wings Airways, in 2011...time really goes by...

 Apesar de já ser "da casa", um registo da chegada do primeiro voo do dia, do Porto Santo para a Madeira, a chegar à 05 de FNC, ao início da manhã, do ATR-72 EC-NGF, da Binter, para foto da semana, até porque ainda não tinha publicado nenhuma foto com este registo

Ainda hoje falava com um amigo acerca de um voo há uns anos num Binter mais antigo... Fica o registo que vale pela pintura e modelo mais antigo... EC-IPJ, ATR-72-202, em Lanzarote (ACE/GCRR), em finais de Julho de 2008...

 A few shots of Edelweiss Help Alliance livery, A320 HB-JLT, on a Zurich - Madeira - Zurich flight Arriving from Zurich, on runway 23... With Transavia from Amsterdam and the smaller birds...local based Binter ATR-72 and daily cargo ATR from Lisbon, Swiftair ATR-72 with Easyjet A320 G-EJCK, arriving from London Gatwick, in the back... Pushing back to runway 05 (dam....) with TAP A320 CS-TNX departing from runway 23, back to Lisbon.

Quick stop last saturday, by the end of the afternoon...rainy dark weather with the only plane getting ready to depart to Porto Santo... Decided to try some prop blur / beacon shots and a panning on departure.... This was the only aceptable pic, with a prop blur and beacons with reflection on the tarmac... Binter ATR-72 EC-NSG lining up for the departure to Porto Santo...

 Also from the first spotting of the year, Binter ATR-72 EC-NSG arriving at Madeira, from TFN/GCXO - Tenerife North with a great afternoon light... Also, the first time I publish a pic of this registration, an 8 month plane, with first flight made in March 2022

From the same night of Swiss A220 HB-JCB (check HERE ), a 2 in 1 catch... Unusual oportunity for some night shots on the daily cargo Swiftair ATR-72, as its usualy a morning operation, with arrival just before lunch... Don't really know why EC-MIY was still here (looks like it departed to Lisbon a few hours later) but it was quite a nice oportunity, even if it was still stoped at the stand... To add a little bit of color and movement, long-exposure of Swiss A220 HB-JCB departing to Geneva, from runway 05, in the back.

A couple of shots from this morning, on the departure of Binter ATR-72 EC-NQR, for the first flight of the day between Madeira and Porto Santo. Been wanting to try these night-shots with Binter for quite a while.... Also, the first night-shots with the Canon 18-135...not bad... A 98mm close-up on the prop blur...they were quite in a hurry for departure..... just before power push-back....

This week we had the begining of the Ryanair operations at Madeira.  I guess it should be an interesting theme for the Photo of the Week but definitely I rather want to dedicate it to WizzAir...One of my favourite liveries around here and one I barely have any pics... Daily cargo flight unloading... Swiftair ATR-72 EC-MIY, with a very nice rainbow, while WizzAir A320 G-WUKD comes in for a landing... Touchdown, from London - Luton 

 Usually make the long exposures shots during the night...today, with dark weather and no special traffic, played around a little bit with ND Filters and a tripod for some day long-exposures... Binter ATR-72 EC-LAD, with TAP A321NEO CS-TJJ passing, on the back... And, with Luxair's B737 LX-LGQ

 From last Tuesday, while waiting for the departure of Portuguese Air Force EH-101 19602 (check HERE), made a few shots on the other traffic.... Binter ATR-72 EC-KSG "Malvasia" departing from runway 23 to Porto Santo (PXO/LPPS), on the last flight of the day...
