Helvetic F100

Allways nice to catch a Fokker 100, specially if it's from a new airline to my records... HB-JVC in Zurich. I like it...simple but really nice livery.

Photo of the Week: Peter Pan

After a long wait, finally, this week, Transavia , brought us it's "Peter Pan" special livery... B738 PH-HSI lining up on runway 05, for the return flight to Amsterdam A special livery is allways nice but considering that the record of Transavia special liveries at Madeira isnt's that good, it's definitely a nice (and probably once in a lifetime) catch...

American Airlines

When your plane parks by the side of an American Airlines B767, it's good to have a 10mm lens for a side shot :) Still struggled with the color tint of the pic due to the bus windows from where I took the pic but, I guess it's not too bad... N389AA at Lisbon apron

Tuifly by Eurowings

Despite the flights made by Eurowings to Madeira last winter, this was one of the few times I managed to see a plane with Eurowings titles at Madeira. :) Performing a Tuifly flight, early in the morning, was with some kind of problem (check the 2 guys on the nose gear bay)... Was told it needed some mechanical intervention.... D-ABAF with white livery and Eurowing titles...

Photo of the Week: Air Zermatt In your face...

When you're enjoying your sights and suddenly, an Eurocopter EC 130T2 roars up the mountain, appearing from God knows where in your face before making a tight flight inversion into the valey again.... At first you're definitely too astonished to react and just enjoy the view...then you start swearing for missing such a catch... :) Righ after that, attached my 70-300 into the camera and waited for the next one...unfortunatelly it seemed like there wouldn't be any... When I was already inside the train, there it came again and managed to make a few shots, through the open window and on backlit but, hell!! These ones I didn't mind beeing on backlit.... Air Zermatt Eurocopter HB-ZAZ performing a scenic flight, climbing into the top of the Gornergrat leaving the top of the mountains, after inverting the flight direction... Still managed to get a Medevac made by another of its helicopters, at Zermatt but, more on that later....
