Afternoon Corendon

Since I can remember, Corendon summer flights (the only ones they make to Madeira...) have been made on Sunday mornings so the oportunity of getting a Corendon from a diferent spot with the right sunlight is allways interesting...
This flight didn't managed to land on Sunday morning due to the winds and returned to AMS.
The replace flight was made the day after on the afternoon, offering the oportunity of some shots from the "rampas" spot with no backlit...too bad it wasn't the special livery but...good can't really complain (but allways do...)

Citation II da Armada

U20-03 em night-stop na Madeira

Por hoje fica apenas um registo simples mas importante de um Citation II da Marinha Espanhola, já que é o primeiro registo que faço de uma aeronave destas.

Pertence à 4ª Escuadrilla da Marinha Espanhola, baseada na Base Naval de Rota, em Cadiz, que opera 3 aparelhos destes, além de um Citation VII (C-650).

Entradas interessantes....

E porque os mais pequenos também valem bem uns clicks, fica um par de registos de uma aproximação do Jetstream da Aerovip, CS-DVQ, numa das suas chegadas do Porto Santo, pela pista 05.
Por vezes estas aproximações são feitas de forma bem mais curta e interessante que as habitualmente efectuadas pelos "manos maiores" :)

Also, a diferent Travel Service for me, as the flight was beeing made by Air Explore OM-GEX with its Neoblanc livery covered with Travel Service titles...not too bad...

OM-GEX is one of the 2 B738 operated by Air Explore, a Slovakian airline.

From Brussels...with wind...

Last Saturday, the wind ketp getting stronger during the afternoon and, to add that, it was quite "weird" and variable with diferent directions and intensities on the various measurement points...

The Brussels Airlines A319 captain had its hands (and feet...) full on the approach to runway 05, struggling with the wind...but went for quite a smooth landing...Well done Captain!

Saturday was back to the "couves" day :)
Couves...(check for it at the portuguese / english translator...lol) is the name of a spot I where I haven't photographed for a long time...

Allways nice to get some afternoon take-offs from that spot and with the last news on the Etihad / Tuifly lack of agreement, who knows what will be Air Berlin's future...

After a nice landing (pics on that later), the departure was also a nice one...so, first published pic of the year for Air Berlin...
