Estreando o Fokker 100

Tive oportunidade de estrear, há poucos dias, o Fokker 100 da PGA...

No CS-TPE, pouco depois da descolagem, de Lisboa

Confesso que fiquei agradavelmente surpreendido pelo avião. Os interiores encontravam-se bastante bem conservados e os bancos eram bastante confortáveis e com bastante espaço (se bem que eu não sou alto...).
Era também bastante silencioso (se bem que, neste aspecto, foi factor primordial o facto de ter viajado na parte da frente do avião....se tivesse ido atrás, certamente não teria esta opinião....) e para finalizar, a tripulação era bastante simpática...
Muito bom, até porque o facto do avião não dispor de ecrãs não foi grande chatice, visto em todos os voos transmitirem basicamente a mesma coisa....

Aeroporto de Lisboa Inaugura nova área

O Aeroporto de Lisboa (LIS / LPPT) inaugurou ontem uma nova área do seu terminal de passageiros.
Pelas fotos, parece estar interessante...

Fica um registo de Março deste ano, com uma pequena zona já em funcionamento...

Pérolas em Lisboa - LPPT

Ainda em ritmo de férias, está custando voltar a colocar as publicações do blog em modo regular, apesar de tudo, cá fica mais uma pequena entrada relativa a um par de movimentos que tive oportunidade de apanhar recentemente na capital (Lisboa, LIS/LPPT/)

Para muitos não serão nada de especial mas, o TAAG, com as suas belas cores (e o facto de ser um 777, 300 ainda por cima...) era algo que já me vinha a escapar desde os tempos do 747, uma vez que por diversas passagens em Lisboa tinha oportunidade de vê-los às distância e normalmente com toda a aparelhagem do handling em volta, sem grandes hipóteses de obter fotos limpas...

Desta vez e apesar do vidro do terminal e de alguma distância, apanhei-o menos mal, precisamente na altura em que fazia o push-back...

D2-TEH, o mais recente dos 777 da TAAG e um dos 2 aparelhos da versão 300

à sua frente ainda outro extra...um Jumbo que, apesar de ser um completo frigorífico, continua a ser um belo avião de se ver e muito raro em frente às minhas lentes...
Suponho que seja o TF-ATX da Air Atlanta Icelandic que, curiosamente é da mesma companhia, cor e modelo que o único 747 que já esteve na Madeira (TF-ABA)

Já quase a embarcar, vejo a outra pérola que, é mais uma vez algo que não será nada de especial para muitos mas, foi, tanto quanto me lembro, o primeiro aparelho da United que fotografo...N12109, um 757 recebido em Janeiro do ano passado por esta companhia

Aerolineas Argentinas

Alguns spotters regionais estiveram este fim-de-semana a spottar na capital, Lisboa (LIS/LPPT).

O movimento mais interessante que fotografaram terá sido o "novo" (ex-Air France) 343 das Aerolíneas Argentinas (ver AQUI e AQUI) F-GNIH (futuro LV-CSX).

Realmente aquela pintura está fantástica e de longe muito melhor que a anterior, que tive oportunidade de fotografar em Madrid-Barajas, em 2005.

New Photo of the Week: Lisbon take-off

Still on vacations but was checking my e-mail and noticed a message from Jetphotos, informing me that this photo had been on the Top 4 shots of last 24 Hours...

Not many oportunities to make these kind of shots and even with a small Ixus 80 and right (amazing) golden light, the results can be very nice....

After taking off from Lisbon at late afternoon, while turning to Madeira, on board CS-TKO, Sata's lastest A320 with a very nice golden light over Lisbon, Portela Airport (LPPT / LIS) and Montijo Air Base (BA6/LPMT), on the other side of Tagus river.

New Photo of the Week - Though the window

Usually I can't manage to get any decent shots trough the windows...it's either dirty, or the glass distortion, or just simply fault...

Anyway, this was one didn't turn out that bad and it's a good one for this week's photo....

Incidente - B777 da TAAG em Lisboa - D2-TEF

O GPIAA (Gabinete de Prevenção e Investigação de Acidentes com Aeronaves publicou a primeira Informação sobre o Incidente com o Boeing 777 da TAAG, de matrícula D2-TEF.

TAAG's B777 incident at Lisbon

Today, a TAAG B777 had some kind of incident on the departure from Lisbon to Luanda.

Regarding this incident, it's yet too soon for causes and pointing fingers but I must admit that looking at its records, it's one airline I probably won't be flying....

Anyway, I do find their livery very nice, specially on their B777...
Still never managed to get a really nice pic of it.
Last vacations, during my scales in Lisbon, got to see their 777 but only managed to take pics through the terminal windows or through my plane's windows, during taxi...

I guess that this one should be one of the best pics taken at the time...
Didn't get the registration, so, don't really know if it's the one that had today's incident.... (D2-TEF)

Air France at the gates

The spotting that I made in Lisbon was also during the boardings and arrivals on that airport.
Got to see the beautifull 777 from TAAG every time I was at Lisbon airport but the pics, through windows got all crappy...
The most aceptable shot at LIS, was probably this Air France, on the gate next to ours.
Most of the windows of the boarding room were covered with some crappy label, with little black dots and was impossible to shot any good pics through that...
This one was taken through the side windows of the corridor from the main terminal to the boarding room....

Alverca by Air

On the return flight, from Lisbon to Madeira, our take-off was a bit more unusual (at least for what I am used to...)
After lining up on runway 03 we waited for a while...
After some helicopter, that seemed like an INEM one (Medical Emergency) passed almost over us, the plane started the take off run.

Was expecting to take some shots at Lisbon airport after take off but, oposite to what I am used to, the A320 made, after take-off, a right turn, instead of a left turn...
Anyway, can't complain as it allowed me to take a couple of shots of Alverca Airfield....

PAS2009 - Landing at Lisbon

One of the most amazing stuff of going to this year's edition of the Portugal Air Show was the fact that I made, for the first time ever, a landing on the cockpit.
The return flight was even more amazing with a full flight on the cockpit and night landing at LPMA's runway 05 with a fantastic crew.

Indeed amazing moments! Many thanks to those that made this possible!
(and good for that because the Air Show was quite a disappointment...)

Anyway, on the FNC-LIS flight got into the cockpit a few moments before we start our descent. The weather was quite cloudy and with little visibility and light rain over Lisbon.




The runway in use, was the unusual 21 which provided a little more flight time and a few more curves... (no complains on that LOL)
