Top at Jetphotos

One of the great things about spotting at Madeira is that you have lots and lots of places that provide many kinds of shots for a plane spotter (even if usually I use the same ones...)

There was this spot I had been wanting to try for quite while...last weekend went for it....
It didn't turned out exactly as I wanted but, someday will give it another try, earlier in the night...

Anyway, it managed to get to Jetphotos TopShots of the last 24H...

Top Jetphotos: Spottando o Easyjet

Reparei hoje num email do Jetphotos, de ontem, informando-me que esta foto tinha estado no Top das Últimas 24h...

Os turistas não pareciam ser do tipo spotter "profissional" mas, aquele ponto ali, com os aviões a passar mesmo em frente, é irresistível para qualquer pessoa...

Normalmente habituamo-nos a que as fotos dos spotters incidam maioritariamente sobre os aviões mas, um aeroporto é todo um mundo à parte, cheio de coisas interessantes e diferentes, que valem a pena registar...

Uma das coisas que normalmente me chama mais à atenção, além dos aviões, são as torres de controlo, pela sua posição, estética (ou falta dela...), arquitectura, etc...

Fica esta, bem interessante e acabadinha de entrar hoje no Jetphotos....

Jetphotos speeds up and a TOP

Looks like the Jetphotos screener made some speeding up on last days..
A lot of Madeira photos have been acepted, including 4 of mine, I had on queue...

These 4 pics are (for me) nice entries because they all have a little bit of a diferent touch from my usual pics

This one, of course, deserves the first mention as it managed to get (currently) to #3 no TOP pics of Last 24H, in Jetphotos.

The cockpit of Portuguese Air Force C-130 16806.
It was the first time we had a Grey C-130 around here, the first time I was in a C-130 cockpit and the first time I took a cockpit pic with my fish-eye...

Some would call it a picture Rui Sousa style.. ;P
Always enjoyed this kind of pics (hads an extra to a stoped plane...) also, the extra is essencially on the fact that Air Berlin's A319 aren't that comon here (specially with 2 emergency doors over the wings...)

Not much rain this winter so, the water from the welcome bath to the return of Germania is a nice oportunity for some water reflections of a plane (TAP's CS-TTR)
The Airliner.net guys didn't saw it as a good motive and thoug the plane was too high on the frame...

Got another email from Jetphotos with a photo that's currently in 2nd place, on the Top of last 24h...
Not great quality...it's just that kind of pic that calls the atention of people that click on it to check it out....

Got an email from Jetphotos, informing me that this shot was one of pics in Top of Last 24 Hours.
It't not there anymore so, don't really know in which position it was but it was one of the 4 more seen pics of last day...allways nice...

Haven't been processing any new pics lately, just been browsing some older pics and uploading them to Jetphotos.
Anyway, it's allways pics I find worthy uploading that I find to be nice ones or with a special meaning.

The first one, is one of the few shots I've taken of New Axis Airways. This pic is even more meaningfull as this airline shut its doors a year ago....

Norwegian Air Shuttle was one of those airlines I allways wanted to see around as it holds a really nice livery,  anyway, never managed to get one of those pics I would consider to be a great one....

Europe Airpost stopped coming to Madeira with the start of Winter season.

This day was the only one I managed to get some night shots on this airline.
The pics I took on this day were rejected on the first time I sent them and now, got this one accepted.

....and the last one, to remember Binter. It's another of the airlines that decided not to come to Madeira during   Winter season (at least, until now).

It's been a long time since I last caught an ATR, from Brinter so, decided to share upload to Jetphotos this previously unreleased shot.
